So lucky I have a verdant grass lawn, does not need watering either, the rain does it. Admittedly parts are a desert but that is more to the grass being heavily shaded ( got some shade loving grass trying it's best there though, it is hopefully going to cover up the brown) from trees.
I like the desert landscape look. I even had one when I lived in North Carolina.
I still have to add some river rock to make a stream in the middle but that can wait until I have more free time.

I had the hardest time with ants and cut worms killing everything so I figured I would go full cactus for the win. HA. worked.
Does the yard get very weedy?
No, but I do spray weeks on weekends. The succulent type cactus don't seem to be bothered by Round Up so I just crop spray the yard. HA.
