- It's always a pleasure to have Miss Universe on Sway in the Morning and this year is no exception as Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach joined the show this week. Taking part in one of the most memorable Miss Universe competitions in recent memory, Wurtzbach has no hard feeling for Steve Harvey and even wants to show him around the Philippines.
From swapping stories of her home country with Sway to speaking on the major attractions in the country, Wurtzbach speaks on how Americanized the Philippines is. With the competition behind her, Wurtzbach can now focus on her involvement around the world. Choosing to work with HIV and AIDS relief organizations as well as on cyber bullying campaigns, Wurtzbach is planning to use the extra attention she received from the media to push these campaigns further than she previously thought she could.
We couldn't let Miss Universe leave without getting to talk about her dating life could we? Confirming her status as single Wurtzbach says that being in a relationship right now would not be fair to her significant other because of how busy she is. Even though DB heard her say all of this he still tried to lay down some moves which failed miserably.

Probably not! The interview would probably not be this exciting and engaging.
I honestly think that Pia is slowly changing the way people view beauty queens and she is trying to evolve the face of Miss Universe. she's not boring, she's quite witty, has shitloads of personality, not stiff at all and knows how to get it down. we can credit Steve Harvey for getting Miss Universe more attention but Pia is holding her own by showing people that a beauty queen can also be a person who can really inspire and can be full of life. :)

That's because the Philippines was colonized by Spain for 333 years and then the Americans took over for almost 50 years till they gave us independence in 1946. We mostly have Spanish surnames as well because got it from the Spaniards. Philippines was named after King Philip/Felipe of Spain hence, the Philippines/Filipinas. We are basically a mixed-breed culture. A fusion of the East and the West.

In my dialect Cebuano Baluga is referring to whale....in Tagalog it refers "dark colored" and since she grew up in CDO...Cebuano speaking, she's smart to know the deeper use of Baluga, and Titi is also used in some family as how you call "uncle"

In some families, they call their uncles as Titi, some are Tatang or Tatan, it depends on what ethnic group you belong...we don't call the male private part as titi, we call it ot_n...... so what I'm gonna tell you is try to ask yourself how deep you knew about the different terms in the country before you say that to me....Titi in tagalog means male private part, Titi in some Cebuano means uncle, I wasn't saying that the caller wasn't a pervert..because he was...and I also did say that some parts in Mindanao use that term to address someone like an uncle in my previous comments....even my neighbors, they are using that term...
