- Real talk guys. For the longest time, I never wanted to admit I was sad, out of fear that people would judge me or say that I’m being ungrateful. Kahit ako napapaisip, how can someone like me, who looks like they made their dream come true, still be depressed?
I did this talk recently and it was challenging to sum up everything about my mental health in 15 minutes. It’s my most honest sharing yet, and I wanted to be sure that if i spoke about it, it was coming from a place of strength and confidence. There’s no way I’m 100% okay now as it’s always a work in progress and everyday you just find healthier ways to cope.
After this, I would like to continue talking about mental health with you. I’ve started to equip myself with the right people around me to make sure that whatever I share is helpful. Thank you to MUO, LoveYourself & all my close friends who knew and who saw. 💙

Even before this video, Pia is my favorite Miss Universe. Now? STILL my fave MU. Now, I was shocked about the beautiful Cheslie Kryst that she sacrificed herself to move into a better place, and this proves that even the most successful or inspirational people are not immune to physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. However, Pia's honesty revealed that people would learn to be stronger with the help of the correct people. Thank you so much Queen Pia for making me and people remind that we should be us and I will do my best to continue to be me. 💙

I believe you Pia, I know it's not really easy, we have the same in common, but the only I could tell you is we're still blessed in a totality of our selves, life is always struggled, be strong, pray and the most important thing is our health(healthy mind and body)being healthy is our big weapon base in my experienced.

this is really true.. We should not tagged the person who is suffering mental illness as "crazy" for we don't know what the struggles they've been through. Raising awareness of Mental health illness is timely and appropriate especially in this critical times. Well said Pia.
