People still don't understand why we call this man the GOAT, it's unbelievable.
23:23 those who know, know.
What??? Jordan is the goat and miles ahead, Kobe is #2 and then LeBron, or switch 2 and 3. Literally their is nothing wrong with being 2nd its Michael Jordan!
@justinperkins6802 Trumpism is literally a thing. People have neurocancers
Facts
@NolandWilkins-zm5ji he isn't better than kobe
Wasn't drugs, my man. It was pure talent, competitiveness, desire, drive & skill 💯 #23 🏀🐐👍
Hard work ethic as well my friend . Goat 🐐
Over 3000 points, over 200 steals, over 100 blocks in one season.
That's goatness.
Thank you again for a great reaction!
No problem!
Best shotblocking guard in history. Some will say Wade, but had Jordan played in the zone era and could just hang around the lane like Wade used to, he’d be at 1.4+ bpg annually. His timing and instincts and the distance he could cover were on a different level.
Wade grew up in Chicago watching Jordan inspire guards to play defense. Wade, Bryant, and good defenders didn’t believe in standing there and let balls not become turnovers that he returned for more buckets. So exciting to watch them play not just run and shoot a basket.
For me, jordan is the goat because he just did literally inhuman things in the playoffs. Like he literally averaged 33.5 for game for the playoffs in his whole career.
I've watched hundreds and hundreds of playoff games and have never seen anyone as consistenly great in the playoffs as Jordan. Never really saw what you can call a bad series from him.
@@davidschmidt1793facts, because there isn’t one. The two sweeps in ‘86 and ‘87 against that legendary Celtics team with 5 HOFers, he was still out of this world w/o a single All Star on his team. Here’s his averages in those 2 sweeps:
‘86: 44/6/6/2/1
‘87: 36/7/6/2/2
And he broke and still holds the NBA Playoff record for pts in a game in Game 2 of the ‘86 series with 63 pts. He was named player of the game in 2/3 losses in that 1986 sweep, that’s insane.
Todays game needs plumbers, because plumbers would at least show up every day to play
Jordan was the first sg to have over 200 steals over 100 blocks inna season and he did it twice
*first player to have...
Olajuwon is the only player to finish a season top 10 in steals and rebounds, and he did it 10 seasons in a row!..
Wanna throw blocks in there?.. lol.. The list doesn’t change..
@@jacobjones5269 Nobody here's knocking Hakeem in the first place. Why so defensive (pun intended)? The 1984 draft is brimming w/ steals specialists (3 season leaders): MJ, Hakeem, Stockton, A. Robertson, Barkley (for his position). Which also features 3 DPOY winners.
@@jp3813
Just pointing out the difference between a great back court defender (possibly the greatest), and the best defender the game has ever seen..
Trust me, I had to do it back then, too!.. lol..
@@jacobjones5269 Ooh, not sure about the best defender part. I personally have no definite answer for that one, though I understand why he's one of the top candidates. There's a ton of subjectivity on the matter beyond the stats. For example, Rodman isn't highly praised for his steals & blocks, but everyone saw him bother both Magic (PG) & Shaq (C).
MJ is an all-around player. There is really no way to compare LBJ to him. Thank you for playing the video. MJ will always be the GOAT🌟🌟
No problem!
MJ had quick reflexes and great instincts
You have to have actually watched Jordan to see why his steals and blocks avgs were so high. He had great length as he's seeing in this video, but great instincts, understanding of where the offensive player was going with the ball, great reflexes and huge hands. Just an incredible defender. I'd take him as a defender over Pippen if he wasn't shouldering the offensive load as much as he did.
Yo. Thanks for checking that out. I thought you would appreciate that. It's ok that Labron is your favorite player. Magic is mine. But I can admit that Jordan is the GOAT and Magic still my favorite. Jordan was the first to have 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season. And did it mutiple times while aveaging over 30 pounts. He is the only player to be scoring champion, Defensive player of the year and MVP in the same season. Even though it's easier to score today because of rule changes and not as physical a game still nobody has had a 3000 point season since Jordan. No load management either. He played all 82 games...
💯💯💯
@@Acloud1 : My man...
Any one comparing lebrons defense to MJ's is just uniformed. MJ had that Russell Westbrook pop of the screen energy gift. That's who he'd be in todays league with the style of play. Prime OKC Westbrook but 2 inches taller, 50% jumper, better finisher, better IQ, better defender. And we saw what Russells numbers were
Jordan #4 all time steals and most blocks among guards
That’s tuffff
And only in 15 seasons total .
When a Lebron Fan asks about drug tests.....you know they thinking what we all thinking bout Lebron...
Career highs for total blocks in a season: Kobe = 67 in '03, LeBron = 93 in '09, Pippen = 101 in '90, Wade = 106 in '09, Jordan = 125 in '87 & 131 in '88.
Mic drop ! Still don't know why pundits keep trying to convince sane people that Lebron James is a better all around player than Mike . Truth is , there's literally nothing Lebron is better at than Jordan ! Nothing ! Except committing offensive fouls . It's easy to get chase down blocks when you're 6'8" and the guy doesn't know you're coming ! But to consistently get the kind of blocks Jordan was getting , particularly when the offensive player clearly knows Jordan is guarding him straight up , requires maximum effort , Supreme athleticism , hand eye coordination , instincts , desire , etc . . Lack of maximum effort & unteachable innate instincts alone disqualify Lebron from being compared to the guy . I mean you can do it , but as the young man admitted , after a few short seconds of watching the video it became clear immediately that Lebron James in no way measures up . We don't even have to address the lie that Lebron is more athletic than Jordan ... do we ? Okay just in case , Jordan's vertical was higher 48 " to Lebron's 44 " ( 4 whole inches less ... hmmm ) . Mike's 40 yd dash time was 4.3 to Lebron's 4.6 ( slow as hell in comparison ) . Your eyes clearly tell you that in no way is Lebron quicker than Jordan . So appealing to your common sense , in what universe is Lebron James a better all around and more athletic player than Jordan ? I'll wait for answer .... exactly , CRICKETS !Take note that I didn't mention anything about offensive ability . The good Lord & Stevie Wonder ( Stevie is blind for those that are unaware ) knows Lebron stands zero chance in that comparison ! I hear fanboys revving up for a hailmary ... well before someone tries to desperately suggest that Lebron is a better passer than Jordan , wrong again ! Documentation and video footage is available for . Refer to the season where Jordan was asked to play point guard for 24 games ( 1989 ) .... 30.4 points , 9.2 rebounds , 10.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game . While shooting 49 % from the floor . During that period , he had 10 game stretch averaging a triple double ! Ah damn , looks like he's even a better rebounder than Lebron ! Damn Bron ! It'll be okay . Just be you and be satisfied ... stop trying to fool yourself & others into believing that you compare to Jordan . Sir you absolutely , unequivocally , sure as death DO NOT !!!💯
Top shot blockers since the stat recorded. Akeem , Kareem , Motumbo .
How can you think of someone as the GOAT, when you KNOW he's not giving 💯% on the floor, EVERY night, EVERY game (like MJ used to)... Dropping on the floor, when someone looks at your direction, complaining at your teammates while pretending to be a statue, sitting out games continuously with a supposedly ankle injury playing the next game like nothing's wrong etc etc.
Everyone is entitled his/her own opinion of course, but man, it's a hard pill to swallow.
Like your reaction to this video, though 👍
Leflops the one that needs to be tested...careful what you wish for😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I appreciate he wasn't afraid to get crossed up. He would get shook, then still get the steal or the block.
Yes sir, thats what a '48 inch vertical a long with super speed and those big hands. A TRUE ARTIST!!!!🖌️💙🇺🇸
Jordan gave 100% effort on both sides of the ball. To give that kind of effort on defense and to still be the most dominant scorer of his time is pretty impressive.
And the thing is MJ would do it every game! Play offense and defense his whole career, giving it all whenever he played, and no load management. Even his last year, as a Wizard, he played all 82 games, averaging 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks that year, at age 40. During his Chicago years, you knew you'd see MJ play if you watched the game, and you'd see him giving his all out on the court. And that's why most people know he's the GOAT. Ever since then, whenever I watched I've seen no one being close to such competitive drive, except for Kobe. And watching the games today, I see nothing even remotely close to MJ's package. If you have time, try to watch full games with MJ playing and you'll notice it's there every game. =)
Jordan was so relentless. He didn't celebrate much when he scored; his focus was on getting back on defense and stopping the opponent from scoring.
Jordan's wingspan was almost 7ft at 6'6, he still had the highest vert in nba history at 48 inches he ran a 4.3 - 40yd dash & had some of the biggest hands in nba history. He was just dominate at both ends of the floor. He is the best shot blocking & rebounding guard in history there was no real weakness in his game when he avg almost 12 ast during 91 finals he was a great passer & he could shoot the 3 when needed.
Drug test results is in! Result is: Greatness.
Defense like this, and still led the league in scoring. 82 regular season games a year.
Just about everyone who Analyzes defense seriously has michael jordan top 10 all time defensively. 1 of 2 guards were that's basically universal. ( The other one is Gary Payton)
MJ had two seasons with over 300 steals and 100 blocks.
MJ is the best 2 way player ever ‼️
MJ 🐐💯
Another thing ppl don't realize bout this dude...his speed
MJ's the greatest defensive guard of all time, GP is the next after him, then Kobe .
He gave it 100%, there's no player right now doing anything close to this.
Eye test both offensively and defensively along with the accolades, stats, playoffs and finals. Jeez, there is absolutely no contest who the GOAT is. Every era has their favorate player and mine was Magic Johnson before this MJ cat came around as far as who the GOAT is.
Rasheed wallace tripping nice video 😂
Many tripped & fell flat on their asses (as was exhibit #23 in this video)♥️👊🏿
There is no better defensive guard you can name that would come close
If I were going to say the next closest would be Payton but it’s still a big gap
See what most people don't realize his 100% is only thing that slowed him down scoring wizards
"They should've drug tested him" Lol. 😂
Drug test??? No need...
He is super human, he is the GOAT
"At least Michael Jordan had a little comp." Wow, just wow!
The man won MVP, lead the league in scoring and DPOY in the same season where he average 35 ppg, 5.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds in a full 82 game season.
In college he ran a 4.3, 40 yard dash and still holds the record for the highest vertical. All that and competitiveness for days. The hardest worker in practice too. That's not drugs just determination.
Atleast a lebron fan acknowledged it
You’re in for a world of hurt if you’re putting Lebron before Jordan
I love your video reactions! It was the drug tests for me🤣🤣🤣😂 just earned yourself a new sub!😇
Ayeee appreciate that!!!
@@Acloud1 You mentioned him as a WR in football, so think of this: he ran a 4.3 40yd dash in college, has a 48" vertical and his hands were the size of a baseball glove. Definitely WR material!
Keep the W videos coming. Peep:

Yessir!!!!
Bro I died when you smelled the juice 😂🤣😂 🤣 😂
But yea MJ was 1 of 1 🏀 🐐
😂😂😂😂😂
Dude was a menace!
Jordan's "magic" on defense was his ability to bait the opposing players into making the moves he already knew they were going to make. Sometimes he would defend a pair, letting his team defend 4 on 3. This made the ball handler think there was an easy pass to the "open" teammate, but Jordan was there waiting.
Imagine being a pro nba player and getting blocked or having it stolen up to 9x a game by this guy AND THEN having him torch you on the offensive for 30ppg 🐐 80-82 games a season...leading the NBA 3x in steals while leading 10x in scoring is definitely goat status
Very tuffff
Jordan was the first player in NBA history to have 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season. In 86-87 he had 236 steals and 125 blocks, then turned around in 87-88 had 259 steals and 131 blocks. Only 3 players in NBA History have had a 200 and 100 season. Jordan (Twice), Olajuwon, and Pippen.
MJ and Pippen on defense could change a game around real quick. Their defense was called the "doberman defense." How many scorers have a nickname for his defense?
Wilt Chamberlain was probably the greatest athlete who ever lived . 7 ft 2 , 48 inch vertical , bench press 550 lbs . College track star ( high jump, shot put, 440 yd dash ) He also played for the globe trotters
Funny thing is they did he was one of the few who wasn't on anything but them giant ass cigars 😂😂 nothing but pure talent
5:31 pat bev is from Chicago, we are all taught to play this way. Jordan changed the culture of Chicago basketball.
Great comparison with Bev and MJ's defense being on par with intensity.
They players are not "mid". The rules were totally different. How good would your favorite player be if he had to keep his hand on top of the ball when he dribbled? What if the refs called a walk if he took half a step without dribbling. Today's players couldn't survive under the old rules.
Yeah a lot of people forget that basketball as a sport went thru multiple changes it was generational talent in every era of basketball that played with different rules it's a lot of players today that couldn't adapt to the rules back then and it's a lot of players back then that probably couldn't adapt to basketball now but it was great players in every era of basketball
And the goat argument never mentioned. All scoring leaders are all SF, pf, and centers. A guard doing that and excelling at defense, while leading to 6x chips. Mj all day. 90's kid here seen Jordan from 88/89... on
Nobody play defen than michael jordan he is the best .
Watch Pippen's defense highlights after this and you very quickly realize why the 90s Bulls were the most dominant team in the modern era.
9:55 statistically wade is the best guard at blocking shots , he was a dawg on weak side help blocks
Alvin Robertson was a great defensive guard; Two seasons 4 spg
They had drug tests back then. You think drug testing just started? Lol
Look for Top 5 NBA Best Guards on steals and blocks.
3:22 he had a 6”11 wingspan
Sorry youngblood, but I was around during Wilt. Those "Plumbers" would kick your ass. Wilt MADE them look like plumbers. Ther was NOTHING they could do with him. Even with more black players in the late 60s, they could do nothing. Wilt played against MORE HOF CENTERS than any other center. Russell, Unsell, Bellamy, Gilmore, Kareem, Thurmond, etc. None of them could do a thing with Wilt. This is one of those instances in which you "had to be there" to understand. Also, the game was more physical than highlight videos would indicate. Again, you had to actually be there to know.
Kids today worry too much about getting "Shook", so they play timidly. You have to be willing to take some "L's". That is how you learn.
MJ played all-out 100% on both ends, EVERY game. He played all 82 games 9x. LeBron has only played all 82 games 1x in 21 seasons…
The GOAT debate is a waste of time
11:07 Jordan against CURRY (😄😄)❓❓So they DID play against each other♥️👊🏿
19:35 It’ll still show up❓❓Bet💯
Flashy? 😂 Wilt was the king of dominance until this little 6'6" guard hit the scene. The storm an attention Jordan generated had Wilt jealous from the beginning.
300% max effort o Defense. The GOAT. I DO NOT SEE NONE OF THESE YOUNG CATS PLAYING NOWHERE CLOSE TO HOW JORDAN PLAYED.. Yes I am yelling because this new erain the NBA is not even close. Jordan played with intensitiy that you do not see. ..
People say Lebron is the best all around player ever, but that's bullshit!!
MIchael Jordan is the best all around player ever!!! It's not even close!!
MJ was blocking centers on a regular basis! He was stealing the ball 2-3 times per game! For a guard, he has a lot offensive rebounds!
Most fundamentally sound player I've ever seen! Most athletic player I've ever seen! The best finisher at the rim! Deadliest mid range jumper! Best shot creator ever!! Hall of fame lay up package! An amazing passer! A great leader! Fierce competitor! Killer instinct! Clutch af! Style! High basketball IQ! Loved and respected even by the opposing fans! Feared by his opponents!!
No weaknesses!!
Simply the GOAT!! His Airness Michael Jeffrey Jordan #23
The real King of NBA basketball!!
They called him ''The black cat'' for a reason...
Wilt said WHAAAAAAAAT???? LOL JORDAN=GOAT NO DOUBT! Bird #2
Around 16:10 to 16:15, he block the shot and didnt even touch the offensive player, that wasnt a foul. I know he pushed him Backwards but it was all hand on the ball!!
MJ had run a 4.3 forty with a 48” vertical. Image a 6’6” wide receiver with those attributes
Do you see the quickness Jordan plays with that's why I laugh when lemedia says LeBron was faster than Jordan like where are they getting that from? I don't see it😂
It's coming to you young man. LeBron is cool and good and flashy and a lot about offense and sharing and passing and that's all good.
Jordan was tenacious on Defense and tenacious on offense. he was an assassin, a clutch player if ever there was one on this planet, he demanded the ball even if he had to share it or to shoot it and when it came time to play D, you very rarely saw him rest ever, unlike LeBron just standing around waiting for stuff to happen, getting a couple blocks if they come near him or something.
LeBron ain't out D'ing up and sliding his feet. This is a part of why in that GOAT debate the Lebron can't hold a candle overall. I don't care if he scores three times as many points as the NBA record; so what? You been there 21 years; you should have a lot of points. If you look at first season averages Jordan kills a while it's just a difference between 15 years versus 21 years and quite honestly part of why the blind last 21 is that he doesn't play defense he stands around and waits for his offensive side it's not even close.
🐐
THAT'S WHEN ANNOUNCERS TOLD THE TRUTH. TODAY'S KLUTCH SPORTS ANNOUNCER'S SPEAKTH WITH FORKED TONGUE, AS MY INDIAN BROTHER'S WOULD SAY, BACK IN THE DAY.
Jordan is the G.O.A.T.
Jordan = Gold
James = LeBronze
Ask the Olympics Panel.
How is it even possible to be a LeBron fan? Oh I know, by literally never having seen real fucking basketball played by real men. I gotcha.
Alot of off ball stuff going wit Mj. HE was a guard tho so that is acceptable
He wasnt Dennis Rodman or somebody who could stonewall players head up, but he played great team defense and made plays that way
definitely a dog on D
approx 7 feet wingspan. more like 6' 11.5". round up to 7.
Tho whole Knicks squad defense is 100
Right if pat bev was 6'6" and had a 40"-48" vert
"Longevity" (the last refuge of LeBron stans in denial) is a lie. Longevity ain't durability. Durability is 82+playoffs, year in year out, because you OWE that. Longevity is taking the night off for your mani/pedi and calling it "strategic". Strategic for what? So you can malinger forever and bank more checks and Insta follows? Newsflash kids: the game, when played properly, is *supposed* to take a toll.
You should watch his passing package
It is insulting to the true legends of the game to even compare lebitch to them.
Na this young dude actually took the time to do his research 😂 unheard of from gen z and be mindful that nowadays they use analytics to gauge the game and structure it
His average is higher then most current centers
He didn't miss block
You would think all those steroids would help LBJ play defense
Wilt Chamberlain is the biggest ego in the NBA ever!!!
You got a member when Will Chamberlain played against Bill Russell in the Celtics there was only 10 teams in the league you feel me I gotta say nothing else you know I’m saying
Lol. No disrespect to Bron, but it's not even close my guy. It really isn't. For the last 10 years it's been soft as charmin, that's the only reason it seems close. But it's comically distant - even the "plumbers" from back then could catch wreck in this pace and space era. I'm not denying the talent of this era, but crowd them....get in their grill and shit isn''s as nice. Jordan is that guy, it's not even close. Peace to the God's, Earth's and 85er's.
NOW if you go back and look at that mix tape again, you will see most of those highlights came from his defense first! Right or wrong?
People who think Lebron is better then Jordan most likely still live at home with their mommy.
Damn dude how’d you kno
Steals champ 3x
Michael Jordan would have average 80 points in Wilt Chamberlain's era easy
When comparing Lebron and MJ, you don’t need to see MJ defense to know he’s the GOAT. His offense alone is better
Half of his arm length comes from his ridiculous hands. 8th largest hands in the history of the NBA and everyone else on the list is 7 ft tall center
