Skaven always doing the dirty work, just like with the Necroquake. I love it
Gardus is just great and I like the attention to him. Definitely the benefit of AOS in particular: a mortal who fought with a few candlesticks against Chaos raised into a Stormcast. It's not something that works with Fantasy or 40K.

Witch Hunter's are my favorite thing in ALL of Warhammer. I'm glad they're fleshing out The Order of Azyr more now. I wonder what the next step is? Flesh them out more in the next Cities book? Or they can remake the Devoted of Sigmar into a new Order of Azyr book.
I love the fact that through the derivations of their names, the Newborns are basically just "Lefty and Rightey"

I kinda hope that we see a reappearance of some of the battalion boxes GW sold. But, given there's not a lot of story left, that could also just feel tacked on
Yeah, I was quite a fan of those as well. Perhaps we'll see similar boxed sets release with narrative books in the future, like if they do more books similar to Wrath of the Everchosen (I think it was called) or even another forbidden power/ malign sorcery type book.
Would Beastmen follow Kragnos?

I have a question. Is there any explanation why Galen, who has model on a 28mm base and look like a regular human, is a better fighter then Lord Celestant Gardus Steel Soul, who is Stormcasr Eternalon 50mm base? Galen has the same Save, Movement and Wounds characteristics as Gardus, but he has better weapons.
Yeah they really screwed up with Gardus's rules, but then again they also made his stormhost's rules lackluster as well. Which is a shame cause they have the best lore and war chant "ONLY THE FAITHFUL!!!"

It seems odd that the Scourge Privateers who run the port wouldn't respond to its invasion by Skaven. Unless that was a detail cut due to video length, in which case never mind. But if the next section is about the Nullstone Brotherhood attacking the city with their masters I hope Arika Zenthi gets to reaper some vengeance on them.
But I really like using the Van Densts to convey the story given that many people won't have read those excellent stories.
If the Necroquake ended with Teclis slapping the shit out of Nagash, why are there still endless spells?
I didn't think it ended, just that Teclis blunted the worst of it, ie reality slowly falling into the Shyish Nadir.
The fundamental nature of magic in the realms was altered by it, turning it off doesn't reverse everything it's done

Yes, because now that the necroquake is over and the fundamental nature of magic has returned to normal, so too should endless spells puff out and cease gradually or instantly, because the altered nature that allowed them to continue endlessly should no longer keep them going.
@@ArkBlanc the necroquake was like an earthquake, it was a specific pulse of death magic that shifted the nature of magic itself like an earthquake destroys buildings or damaged foundations because of the sheer size of it. What Teclis did was stop the pulse of death magic itself, not fix all the damage it did or the ways it changed the nature of the realms
