Tricky. VBar logging isn't fast enough (2 p/sec) to make a decent rendering, and I find another camera doesn't make it really clear. There is a sim video that shows sticks for this, but point taken. I will start using the 2nd cam again, and see how it goes. Thanks
From the start, skids in ail tic tocs felt easier. The skids give me a better view of the angle of the model at any point so I can vary the arc of the tic toc much easier...
Wow, interesting. Deffo with white skids the visibility is better than blades-in, and agree the angle between the skids and underside is more obvious. Cool 😎
I find that Tics Toc's feel very locked in on the sim, but in real life it seems to take so much more collective to keep the model from sinking. It gets to the point that the head speed starts to bog and I have to bail out of the maneuver. Is there a particular head speed or motor requirement to sustain the downlow rapid Tic Toc's? Thanks!
With sim you never run out of collective, whereas IRL it's really obvious when the model is labouring and it's being done wrong. When reaching the end of a tic the collective should reverse first. The cyclic should continue to lag slightly so the model gets lift. Play with the paused mini rainbows o to see if you can get that hangtime. If the model is dropping during your normal tictocs ,it could be setup, too much collective or just doing them too fast for what the heli is capable of.
great, this is helpful, thank you!
Thank you
Another great video as always Richard. A camera view of the sticks would be helpfull

Great job and perfect timing for me.

@@rchelicopter Aside from pilot error, what items should I be double checking regarding the setup of the heli? Thanks again.
