Several hundred pounds, you need an H Licence to drive a tracked vehicle on the road, it must be road legal, ie tax disk and insurance

Depends. 1 company i work for do it in 2 days. Other company 5 days
Making a tank steer is inherently tricky cuz you can't change the angle of the tracks relative to the hull.
Information on the differential mechanisms is surprisingly sparse.
Can't spell "steering" correctly, can't identify a tank from other types of armored vehicles either. This site is bullshit.
