Mimick can be type of cloak, or deception.
@@SciFiTime “Mimick [sic] can be type of cloak…” No. The meaning of “cloak” in sci-fi and in general use would mean that ship is difficult or impossible to see, or detect.
Deception, yes. To mimic could be a form of deception.
Two different things. Also, aside from this specific term, the story clearly says they were both detected - appearing to be other Vraxian ships - and at the same time, completely undetected. It cannot be both. That’s the point. Consistency is important.
