Its raining here in NW Alabama too. It felt great yesterday. It was cool all day. I'm watching today while I'm waiting on my oral surgeon appointment time. They're gonna do my consultation/ "advanced X-rays " (must be super advanced bc they're charging me $274 today) and they'll tell me what and when they're gonna do all my extractions so I can get my fake plates. I can't wait. I know you were happy and relieved when you got yours done. Did you have alot of pain when they done yours? I've got alot that are at the gums or below that's broke off so I'll have to get those cut out and stitched but I'd rather have stitches when get extractions bc I get dry sockets easily. Jeff, the flashlight didn't seem like it was full 2250 lumens because it was in high mode (1135 lumens), not in turbo.
I carry a small etc fixed blade (Boker AK1 Drop Point) in a leather sheath. For me it makes more sense than a hard piece of kydex for comfortability.
I wish fized vlade knife companies would atart giving scout carry options for leather sheaths.

I do carry a fixed blade. I would prefer kydex, but my wife got me this really nice Damascus fixed blade with a leather sheath, so I carry that when I carry a fixed blade. Unless I'm in the woods or camping, where I carry a BK7.

I carry a fixed blade, in leather or kydex. It doesn’t make a big difference to me.
And just to make it a more complex answer-I carry a Winkler Blue Ridge Hunter that is a combination. Leather lined Boltaron.

Yup it's an over casted day here in the Bay Area of California's but I'm shire it's HOT day out side of the bay area. I live by lot's of water so we get that Ocean breeze and cloud cover. But still have to get thing's done out side

Hey Jeff, I've been watching for a long time (started watching in my teens and I'm 30 now lol) just got done watching the recent life updates.
Have you considered making CZcams Shorts (in bulk) out of your existing content? You have countless hours of material to work with, I think this could genuinely revitalize your channel with new subscribers + getting extra ad revenue from shorts.
Just make sure you UNCHECK the box that asks if you want to notify your existing subscribers, this will maximize your reach and potential to reach people that are unfamiliar with your channel. Please do some research about it whenever you get the time, it's definitely worth looking into. I've seen quite a few old CZcams channels do this and it seems to work wonders.

I do carry multiple fixed blades in leather sheath I don't like plastic anything. So kydex is a no for me.

That flashlight seems very overpriced. doesn't look as good quality as the olight baton 3 pro max which is the same claimed brightness and costs almost half as much
