Thank you for his free projects, thankfully you're here, it's rare to have such good free tutorials! For us Europeans it would be nice if it is possible to write in pencil on the cardstock measurements in inch, because it takes time to understand everything

@@averildaniels7479 Ich bin auch totaler Anfänger, nwar mein erster Versuch, aber ich komme ab Seite 8 nicht mehr klar. Von 8 bis 12 ist gar kein Platz mehr vorhanden oder soll man das alles jeweils noch auf den Rückseiten der ersten 6 Seiten anbringen? Käme mir sehr überladen vor und unsinnig, weil die Grundseiten ja doppelt gearbeitet sind, sozusagen zum "Drüberstulpen". Und das Cover hat sie ja am Anfang gemacht, beide Seiten. also wohin mit den Seiten 8 bis 12? kannst du mir helfen? Wäre echt toll!!!

Have you tried using tyvek to help strengthen the binding? It's the USPS envelopes with the fibers and its amazing because you can't tear it. I use it to support the hidden hinge and binding by sandwiching between the layers.

I had the same thought! Tyvek is strong yet flexible when needed. I’ll be using it for this album.

Could you please do a tutorial on how you decorate this album?
Little tip you can use double sided tape but you can add glue on top the doubled sided tape it will give ypu some wiggle room. You can do that aswell on the red scotch tape coz when the stick it no taking apart if you go wrong
I'm attempting this as my frist book lol , rosa you make it look so easy haha my measurements are coming off wrong and sometimes it looks like I'm cutting it cricked but I'm still rolling lol , I think I'm just going to put in 4 pages witch makes actuall pages with the to sides in the cover , now my cover came out smaller then my pages , here is where I think I really messed up , I made my pages 6 n 3 quarters not 6 and 1 quarter but like I said it's my frist book and it's for me I'm super excited to get to decorating so I am just going to roll with it and see maybe if I can make a flap kind of closer to make the cover a lil more bigger but if not I'll add some cute clip embellishments I'm thinking to the sides and lace and hopefully it will still come out pretty lol !! If anyone has any suggestions let me know lol

Hi Rosa! Thank you so much for a great tutorial! I followed along and made this wonderful album, but I made a big mistake lining up the first page evenly!!! I am so frustrated with myself. Is there a way to fix it? It's just a tiny bit off at one end, but enough to cause the pocket to buckle. Help!
This mini album is amazing! Absolutely beautiful. What kind of paper are you using for the cover? The paper I used starts to tair after I glued it around the sides and down the spine.
What is the weight of your heavy weight paper, and do you have gsm for both papers? Also, where do you purchase yours? I’ve done a number of mini albums, and 65lb paper can vary widely! I’m trying to find papers in both cover weight and heavy weight that work best. This would be a fun topic for your magazine! Maybe have a contributor from a company who can talk about the best papers to use for mini album bases.

Hi Rosakelly. Puedes decirme si la espina la puedo hacer con heavycardstock de 300 gramos? Me preocupa hacerla con cartulina de 165 . Que opinas? Será que con cartulina gruesa no abren bien las páginas?. Otra pregunta es porq yo tengo de usar mucho el hueso o bone folder para pegarlas. De lo contrario, se despega. Yo uso tacky glue. Me puedes ayudar? Aprovecho para decirte que disfruto los tutoriales, tu haces todo más fácil y entretenido
