hi Michael! Thank you for you blog post and this video. You motivated me to go with WOOP instead of Fitbit. I was happy to use your referral link. Thank you for the discount! 💖 Keep making those videos and posts, you are very helpful for the community of people that try to do fitness the best way ✨
As an armature, just trying to keep active...I am looking for things it does not seem to offer... What I hope for in a watch is Music, heart rate, calories in a run and in the gym, GPS, and would be nice to have a watch that monitors pacing, tells you to speed up slow down etc... I recognize the benefits in benefits tracking recovery... its not important for someone working 50 hours a week, working out on the side.
What you're looking for is an Apple Watch or Fitbit Versa. These offer many of the features you're asking for. WHOOP is a different beast. It's meant to help you improve your health by interpreting the biometrics of your body and correlating them with lifestyle choices. Regarding recovery tracking, it should be important for everybody because it's a sign of how your body and nervous system are handling factors, including the ones that have got nothing to do with exercise but with stress, illness, diet and a host of other factors. Personally, I want to perform optimally in my job, as a parent and spouse. WHOOP is a piece of the puzzle to make that happen.
amazing review, thank you. I perform a lot of full contact sports, jiu jistu, heavy bag striking. Full sparring/punching kicks. Which would you recommend the arm band or underwear to hold the whoop?
@@MichaelKummer more of your mic seemed to be too low. I've watched a few of your videos and ran into the same situation. Very informative and yes, I bought the Whoop. Most of it was because of your information, so thanks.
@@leocal7659 So cranking up the volume doesn’t solve the problem because the background music would be too loud? I’m just trying to understand the issue in more detail so I can make adjustments in future videos. PS: Thanks for using my link, I appreciate it!
I just went from polar to garmin 945 lte. Love the new watch, but i feel the sleep tracker in garmin sucks ! It cant compare to polar! But, I love it more as an activity and so on it's alot better. But, I was thinking of buying whoop 4 as tracking my sleep better. How accurate do you feel this whoop is after having it for a while ? I thought about oura ring, but i would ruin it at work or when i train ..
Does the Whoop 4.0 work well with Android devices, as when I look on the app store to download it, there a lot of 1-star and negative reviews from users on Android saying the 3.0 used to work well but the 4.0 and/or the updated app are not functioning well or connecting consistently. Any comments or experiences to share on Android?

Would you say the whoop underwear is accurate compared to wrist or bicep sleeve?
Yes, I'd say so. In some cases it's even more accurate. For example, if your workout involves wrist movements.

I'd probably do the underwear to be on the safe side.
I like your videos very informative, but please increase the volume of your mic.
Thanks Leo! Are you referring to the balance between my voice and the background music?

After having used WHOOP, Oura, Biostrap, Eight Sleep and an EEG, I feel like WHOOP is most accurate (besides the EEG).
@@MichaelKummer just ordered one from ur link. Will be fun seeing the difference between my Garmin and this whoop

I don't have any hands-on experience with Android but I haven't heard any complaints from my friends who use WHOOP on Android.
I have been using the Whoop 3.0 for last 2 years using android (Samsung) with no issues.... im yet to upgrade to 4.0.
