The first one I bought too as a teen in 1986 I was 14. It's an amazing album. Full of aggression and ferocity. My favorite song Mantronic. Restless gypsy is an amazing song though.
Best metal vocalist ever. I remember playing this in the old VW bus while my dad was driving and he said it made him think of Hell and Satan and demons flying around and smoke and fire everywhere. I just thought "yeah me too".

Underestimated absolute masterpiece of it´s time! Almost every song is excellent or good. Even though I´m into heavier and heavier music, this is a definite memory lane for the past days. There´s fury and drive like in no other heavy metal album, all the way. I´ve heard only one other album that goes from begin to end with the same ferocity as this!
I was 13 yrs old when this cassette tape came into my hands in 1986..I wore the tape out from listening to it over and over..I even listened to it while sleeping with my Walkman on.
This album still remains one of my all time favourites. I bought it when i was 17 and I'm now 50 and it stil hits the spot. My only regret is never seeing them live.
Saw them on tour with Metallica in Germany back in ´87. Cliff Burton just died a few months earlier, but Metallica continued their "Master of Puppets" Tour. These good old Metal Years in the 80´s and early 90´s...i will always remember...

Great underrated album. "I'm Alive" is still one of my favorite WASP songs. Amazing lyrics. And endlessly ironic considering Blackie Lawless's current views -- he should've remembered what he had wrote back in '86.

My friend named Daniel Sammydass, more affectionately known as "Sammy" to his colleagues and "Shauna" to his family and myself, once gave this album to me based on my reaction to hearing it for the first time. I told him I couldn't accept it because, frankly speaking, an original CD costs one and three quarters of my daily salary and I couldn't possibly relieve him of such a valuable trinket. "Nah, go 'head nah! Yuh look like yuh real feelin' d vibes an' I never really like WASP. I get dis CD for ah dog in ah garage sale an' buy it cause ah never hear dem before, but dey ain really suit meh taste." For those who can't understand the island lingo, all he said basically was that I looked like I enjoyed the music more than he did and not to worry about cost because he got the CD at a garage sale for "ah dog", which is what we call our twenty dollar bill. He only bought it because it was an original album in imacculate condition and he had never actually given WASP a try, but as it turns out it wasn't really his cup of tea. So, I ended up with this album. That was back in '03. I still get chills when The Big Welcome comes on. I still get goosebumps when I hear the intro for Inside the Electric Circus. And I still get an erection when that first chorus kicks in. Thats just the first two tracks. I don't know why, but this album is filled with sexual energy for me. I've left a definite impression on ladies who have never given this genre of music any thought. Now they understand the meaning of the request "Let me rock your world." The Muay Thai training helps a bit too, in terms of endurance. But I digress. Daniel is no longer with us. He passed away in 2018 from a stroke. He was older than me by a dozen years. However, he did introduce me to WASP and other kick ass talents from "back in the day", such as Blitzspeer, Keel, TT Quick, Queensryche, The entirety of Ronnie James Dio's career, Uriah Heep, and a whole shitload more. R.I.P. Shauna. Thanks for all the great memories and music. I'll see you on the other side brother. \m/

This is the album that started it for me back in 1986 when it first came out. I have since then never looked back. An amazing album full of energy and kick ass songs. The more I listen to it the more it's like drinking a finely aged bottle of wine. This album is meant for one to savor. I love RESTLESS GYPSY but my favorite is the Vicious MANTRONIC. I have all their albums including THE STING. All are great with the exception of 2 songs. Flesh and fire and Savage. All I need is VIDEOS...IN THE RAW & LIVE AT THE LYCEUM. A definitely underrated album.
I've tried since 1987 to get into this band. They definitely have their place in history. I come back every 4 months or so to try and get this band, but they just don't do it for me. I'm happy for those who do. This is definitely the last time I will look this band. I just have to accept that they just don't do it for me. For those of you who enjoy, keep on brothers and sisters. Great underrated album. "I'm Alive" is still one of my favorite WASP songs. Amazing lyrics. And endlessly ironic considering Blackie Lawless's current views -- he should've remembered what he had wrote back in '86.

My friend named Daniel Sammydass, more affectionately known as "Sammy" to his colleagues and "Shauna" to his family and myself, once gave this album to me based on my reaction to hearing it for the first time. I told him I couldn't accept it because, frankly speaking, an original CD costs one and three quarters of my daily salary and I couldn't possibly relieve him of such a valuable trinket. "Nah, go 'head nah! Yuh look like yuh real feelin' d vibes an' I never really like WASP. I get dis CD for ah dog in ah garage sale an' buy it cause ah never hear dem before, but dey ain really suit meh taste." For those who can't understand the island lingo, all he said basically was that I looked like I enjoyed the music more than he did and not to worry about cost because he got the CD at a garage sale for "ah dog", which is what we call our twenty dollar bill. He only bought it because it was an original album in imacculate condition and he had never actually given WASP a try, but as it turns out it wasn't really his cup of tea. So, I ended up with this album. That was back in '03. I still get chills when The Big Welcome comes on. I still get goosebumps when I hear the intro for Inside the Electric Circus. And I still get an erection when that first chorus kicks in. Thats just the first two tracks. I don't know why, but this album is filled with sexual energy for me. I've left a definite impression on ladies who have never given this genre of music any thought. Now they understand the meaning of the request "Let me rock your world." The Muay Thai training helps a bit too, in terms of endurance. But I digress. Daniel is no longer with us. He passed away in 2018 from a stroke. He was older than me by a dozen years. However, he did introduce me to WASP and other kick ass talents from "back in the day", such as Blitzspeer, Keel, TT Quick, Queensryche, The entirety of Ronnie James Dio's career, Uriah Heep, and a whole shitload more. R.I.P. Shauna. Thanks for all the great memories and music. I'll see you on the other side brother. \m/

This is the album that started it for me back in 1986 when it first came out. I have since then never looked back. An amazing album full of energy and kick ass songs. The more I listen to it the more it's like drinking a finely aged bottle of wine. This album is meant for one to savor. I love RESTLESS GYPSY but my favorite is the Vicious MANTRONIC. I have all their albums including THE STING. All are great with the exception of 2 songs. Flesh and fire and Savage. All I need is VIDEOS...IN THE RAW & LIVE AT THE LYCEUM. A definitely underrated album.

But i Love it....
I've tried since 1987 to get into this band. They definitely have their place in history. I come back every 4 months or so to try and get this band, but they just don't do it for me. I'm happy for those who do. This is definitely the last time I will look this band. I just have to accept that they just don't do it for me. For those of you who enjoy, keep on brothers and sisters.
