Please raise your voice for the camera problem with iphone 15 promax. The photos change drastically after they are taken. Before a photo is taken,it seems very good through the view finder. Its saturation, vibrance and brightness are well on point. But when a photo is taken it automatically becomes dark and grainy. 😢… it also loses saturation and vibrance and becomes disgustingly dull🤮. The difference before and after clicking is so much and abrupt that i hate it😢. In indoors its good. But this problem happens in outdoor when its bright sunny day.Please raise your voice creaters😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.
Please the rest of you people, check your phones as well. Just test it in outdoors on a normal sunny day. Check the brightness , saturation and vibrance of the image before and after clicking. Then report back. We must raise our voice.
What about the chip over heat problem with the apps? The cpu is faster, but you have to limit the speed for the apps. Maybe 5nm is the end of the chip, anything lower 3nm is not an improvement.

Dont buy new iphone on its release. Buy after like 4 mos after release to fix any bugs and problems. So buy the16 around January or Feb 2025

1 TB is unncessary in most cases as most people use cloud these days. Mine is the same as yours but 256GB. Love it

I've read a bunch of articles on the overheating issue. Feels strange that Josh didn't mention that issue at all. Curious.
If i'm not mistaken, it had been an iOS issue which came out with iOS 17.0. The issue ad been resolved via 17.1 or 17.2. I forgot but that's the overview I think
I went from 6s to XS MAX and this 15 PM is on its way. I don’t upgrade often, actually I am not hard on phones so they last. Upgrades are huge for me. My plan allows for me to upgrade whenever I want so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 15 pro max and if the 16 pro max is worth the upgrade, I will upgrade with no penalty.

Iphone battery life shelves usually can maintain healthily for the first 2 years, too quick too judge now. Let’s update again after 2 years of usage and if you are heavy user.

Really like my 15 pro max. Got it in October. I actually have 100% battery health which I find great!!! 175 battery cycles.
I would be interested to know how many people just set the action button to silent?
My guess is it’s gonna break down by age bracket. It’s antidotal, but the younger you are, the more likely you are to just leave your phone on silent 100% of the time in my experience. Like I haven’t taken my phone off silent in 6 months haha. - Josh

i’ve had mine for almost 6 months and i rly love this phone but there’s one issue that if the iphone 16 pro max fixes this i will be upgrading… and that is the battery… im down to 95 percent capacity already and the battery rly doesn’t last that long maybe im js using my phone too much idk maybe i should use it less lol but hoping to see some battery improvement for the 16 models but other than that i love it and i definitely think its a decent upgrade from the 14 pro max if u want the action button but not completely worth a year upgrade i only upgraded bc i switch phone carriers so i took advantage of that hehe

My kids got the mid-year green 13 Pro, and I’ve always hated the weight of their phone, so was not expecting to go with a Pro when I needed to upgrade - until the Titanium was released. Not sure I’d go as large as a Pro Max, but the lighter frame has made a huge difference.

@@shoumikislam9242 its up to you, I upgraded mainly for storage and Camera Features. Also my battery was at 88% and was still good. Anything above 80% is generally fine. The New Natural Titanium looks great too, rocking no case as of now 👍

In regards to the appstore, the EU is pushing hard on all tech compnies that make smartphones to stop being gatekeepers, and allow access to other apps and even side loading. Apple currently has 6 months to deal with this ruling.

The phone is overall a pretty good phone, but the voice dictation is absolute garbage, and it needs to be improved a lot. It’s holding back pretty hard in my opinion.
That should be addressed with ios18 and some help from Google or someone with way more AI capabilities…so I’ve heard.

Wait till the 16 pro max. It will be a updated version of the 15 pro max. Same as it was for the 13 pro max. It fixed all the issues the 12 pro max had, and it did have issues

I literally just bought the 15 pro. And I had no idea about the action button until I was setting it up. I was like “oh hell yeah I can just put my flash light on this” because I use the flashlight all the time. I had no idea you could program it to do different things depending on different conditions

"Upgraded" from a couple of Android phones - Pixel 5a and a Moto g Stylus 5g (2022) to a 15 Pro Max. I am not an Apple hater - and I absolutely don't trust Google so not a fan of Android - but... I can't stand this 15 Pro. I mean, it does not have basic functions that cheap Androids have. And this charge port issue of it connecting and reconnecting and BEEPING EVER DAMN TIME - is a pain. I have to turn my phone off to charge it because it is so annoying. As a Mac and iPad user, I love how all of my Apple devices work together - but other than that... Whew... no, this phone just is not worth the price. The phone just has not evolved over the past 10 years.

Bashing Apple for the App Store fee is extremely short sighted. Running a server farm for millions of apps for billions of phones isn’t free. Also exposing the app developers to those billions of users has a value. eBay for example charged ~15% just to sell on their platform vs selling your your neighbor. Why? Exposure value. 30% may be too high overall but with inflation, maybe not vs when it launched. I don’t want an open App Store. I’ve had android and it’s a hot mess! There’s also cost to have human intervention to keep the store clean. Why would I want to worry what my elders download and have to go down the spiral of android/windows to fix and maintain it. I’ll gladly pay the 30% for a groomed garden of bliss.
The DOJ lawsuit is gov overreach, but that’s a whole other topic opened by the EU USBC stupidity.
I'm not arguing Apple needs to haven an open App Store, if they want to keep the app store and fees, that's fine by me. But the iOS Operating System itself needs to allow for downloading apps directly from the Internet, exactly the way Apple allows this on the Mac today. -Josh

This isn't an app store problem...it's an Apple thinking they are better than the government problem. Apple won't open its files...so the government sues...plain and simple....it's the American way. Government sues behind crap so they can look at your books. Problem is Apple doesn't have more resources than the government and eventually they will give in because legal fees get passed down to the consumer.

What that looks like and how it’s handled could be similar to how they approached the Mac but the fact it isn’t that is also a bit of the beauty of simplicity. It’s a careful what you wish for moment, but fun to contemplate.
I’d really like to see what could happen if the phone could be leveraged for even more on the go horsepower (cpu/gpu) with Vision Pro.

@@6MonthsLateryou can’t treat the iPhone like the Mac because they are 2 very different devices with different uses, and importantly, different size user bases. With the popularity of iPhones and the number of users, the risk of allowing open access as on the Mac is problematic. Also, the Mac App Store of purely Mac apps (i.e., excluding iPhone/iPad apps that can run on M series Macs) is extremely limited. In short, there likely aren’t a ton of apps that aren’t available in Apple’s App Store that users are clamoring for.
