lemon squirter is actually really useful to me for when I want to evenly lemon my schnitzel without flooding the entire thing.

+Lukana Octo I was just thinking, the lemon one actually seems useful because sometimes I want a spritz of lemon but not a full on drizzle. It seems easier to control amount. But then, for < $1, I can buy a spritz bottle and just pour lemon juice into it.
+Lukana Octo So what you need is just the tool to "mist" the juice, not something that ruins a lemon and leaves most of the juice.
Cant you squeeze out the juice and pour it into a spray it more effective and cheaper

I think the lemon juice extractor is actually a good tool because it evenly distributes the juice and it can be light or heavy

Some of these do have a use. Like, for people with disabilites, motor skills issues, need for perfect presentaition or for those looking for a legal alternative to pepper spray... Lemon in the eyes stings like hell
Yeah, while I understand and appreciate the comedy of this video, it's nice to have someone actually mention this in the comments. :) A lot of these weird products are made for people with disabilities, they just don't advertise it in this way.
Thanks for pointing it out. I'm working on impairments and products usability and it's really annoying listening to people bad mouthing products that make quite a difference to impaired, elderly or people going through impairing situations.

This is hilarious! I recently started watching this channel because of their recent food gadgets reviews. I had no idea that the "useless or not, you decide" line was a joke from the first video. I love all of the content that this channel produces.

Chefs are:

Short and glasses = Ben
It's easier now since in newer videos Jamie also wears glasses all the time

I've actually found the "pickle fork" can be useful, if you don't use it for pickles.
I bought something that's identical to it but had a different name and was sold in liquor stores as home bar equipment. It can be helpful when you're trying to get onions, olives, or cherries out of their jars without touching the food or needing a piece of kitchen cutlery to pull double-duty.
the egg square thing would actually be really useful for people who only have the use of one arm because it's nearly impossible to balance and slice it with one hand

I know this is late, but some of these can be really useful to disabled people. Most of the 'lazy' kitchen items were made for us to use.

I think the egg compressor thing is great for making food look good. Not really anything else, but you have to admit that square eggs look amazing.

Going through another Sorted binge. I've gotta say that the in your face, colourful intro is fantastic. Shame they no longer use it
I'm disabled and that egg separator would be very useful for me.
Luckily, they have since learned that lots of these products are developed for disabled people
Doesn't help if the product requires more fine motor skills than just cracking an egg
Odd gadgets are usually for the benefit of people with disabilities or motor problems (à la electric can opener) but these... I cannot begin to fathom who these could be helpful for. They're more tricky to use than nothing at all, which completely eliminates the point of having a gadget. Although the cubed egg did look pretty cool... but yeah. Useless

+Amy He I separate eggs the old fashion way by passing it between the shell halves. But an empty disposable plastic bottle works just fine. Just crack your egg into a bowl, squeeze the bottle and use the suction to suck up the yolk as you relax pressure on the bottle.

I just came from another old video where Jamie and James review the most veiwed videos on the internet and the last one is sorted most viewed video and led me to this, and thank god because this has to be one of their best videos ever
I love the lemon juice sprayer thing! I'd use it to spray my fruits and keep them from browning without having to cut open the lemon and juice the whole thing :)

I love my telescopic pickle fork! seriously lol. Its amazing for silverskin onions. A lot more effective than a standard fork and wont pool vinegar like a spoon. And no, i cant get my hand to the bottom of an onion jar.

well the second i cant agree here where i live we have different type of lemon not big like the video show....but then it can work for other types of lemons
The telescoping pickle fork thing is actually very useful. Try doing your 'just grab it' technique when there are 3 small pickles left in a jar 3x bigger than the full one they were using. Unless you're planning on getting your entire fist wet, you'll just be chasing them around. I wouldn't use it to get 1 pickle, but when I'm putting together a plate of cheese and pickles to go with triscuits and I need like a dozen of the tiny 'snacker' pickles, the telescoping pickle fork is a godsend.
Mike picking up a fork to then use his fingers to grab the pickle out of the jar and not use the fork what so ever is fantastic

The lemon squirter works great when you just want to mist an avocado or sliced apples to prevent browning. And you can leave it in the lemon or lime and put in the fridge for a few days until you need it again

I know you guys probably won’t see this but I really hope you do but most gadgets that are meant to carry on a purpose different from the original one are most likely made for people with physical disabilities; for example the egg splitter is used for people with the shakes or who can’t use two hands or for people with mental disabilities which it’s hard to carry out simplest of task the egg splitter is the most useful gadget along with the pickle graber here
