    It’s a 3 year cycle and it’s rolling average so it doesn’t restart after 3 years it just removes the year furthest away and takes the new year in

    I can’t believe people are actually shocked by the slowing down of signings. Even with chelsea. I’ve said it for ages, the 8 year contracts for Chelsea weren’t helping to avoid ffp, they were just slightly delaying it. Because an £80 million signing spread across 8 years means the following year you’re already £10 million in debt. Do that for multiple signings as well as signing players in future windows, and you’re gonna struggle to stick to the £103 million revenue loss rule

    Absolutely Hilarious how Rory now wants the money in football to slow down having supported a club that was brought back into relevance over these two past decades buying silverware!

    FFP. That’s the answer. Can’t believe you needed to make a video for that

  • @yeonlee5

    Simple. Winter transfer markets tend to be more costly than summer ones due to how contracts are usually written to end in summer and teams not willing to sell during midseason. More expensive = more risk. Also ffp being put into action with point deduction is making most of the big six teams scared to sign any players without balancing let alone do it in a probably more costly jan window

      @@callumbliss3731must be a fan fan of one of the "big 6" again it was brought in to protect to big 6 and stop anybody else breaking in but your your ok with that but if you want to go down a route ok of the owner has got the money and is willing to spend why not?

    • @callumbliss3731
      @callumbliss3731 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @adamtelford640 Because say I buy Reading who are obviously a mess. Then I pump in hundreds of millions because I can. Then a year later get bored and pull out my investment.... the club has been destroyed
      FFP allows teams to make a loss over 3 years, doesn't include academy upgrades etc.
      Newcastle fans are very vocal about it even though since the takeover they've spent 400 million. Newcastle United as a club are making a loss (check companies house if you don't believe me) that's because they have pumped in loads since the takeover on transfers and new contracts
      Again Newcastle can upgrade their academy (think they have) and grow that way as well. Ultimately people are upset because they can't become successful through unlimited finance straight away.
      And to disprove your point further. Brighton are ran excellently and make a profit. So in football it isn't just spending=success (otherwise Everton and Chelsea would be doing well). There are smarter ways to run a club like Brighton 👍🏻

      @@callumbliss3731 so the big 6 like the ones you support can just do anything and you don't want other teams breaking in right ok and btw again if the owner has got money why shouldn't they and I see you big 6 teams say anything about Newcastle when Mike Ashley was in charge and didn't do anything

    • @callumbliss3731
      @callumbliss3731 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @adamtelford640 I've already explained the risk of a new owner coming in spending tons more than the club makes and then dropping out...
      Your solution is to let every club do what City have done and spend unlimited amounts. How is that fair to Championship teams or below? How can they possibly dream of becoming a stable Premier League Club if virtually all Premier League clubs spend what they can? It widens the gap between the Prem and the below leagues even further

    Rory: the hypocrisy after spending billions to "shape Chelsea's future" want clubs to stop buying.
    Buvey: want a market crash so Man City can continue to improve through buying players at a cheaper price to avoid future charges / so they have spare cash to "avoid charges".
