- There are a lot of people who would like to forget the 2011 adaptation of Green Lantern, but star Ryan Reynolds seems content to constantly remind us of the flop. After all, this means he gets to mock it more.
Deadpool 2 saw his self-aware superhero going back in time to kill Reynolds before he could ever play the Green Lantern, which made many superhero fans quite happy. Marc Guggenheim, one of the four screenwriters of the Green Lantern film, even saw Deadpool 2 and tweeted his thoughts to Reynolds. Let’s take a look at how one of the Green Lantern screenwriters reacted to that Deadpool 2 scene.

These type of people need more job opportunities because they are humble.
They don't run away from their mistakes, even at times when they are not completely at fault. They're manning up to their potential failures and that's how people grow and get better.
I wouldn't be surprised that he's able to knock a script out of the ball park if another opportunity arise.

GrandFunker I think you probably check it out the animated movie, "Green Lantern: First Flight" or the short-lived Green Lantern animated series, since those two incarnations are the only introduction to newcomers who are unfamiliar with the Green Lantern mythos and franchise. Unlike the abysmal live-action movie. Because that movie was boring as hell.

Just because a show has X number of seasons doesn't mean its really successful. Some shows grow a diehard bind fandom who will continue to watch the show no long after its hit its peak. This leads to shows stagnating in the ratings and never really improving. The Arrowverse is kind of like Supernatural in that it plays it safe and has a fandom that refuses to quit watching.
Overall the Arrowverse became quite stale with the only notable show being LoT which has the ability to swap out various cast members to keep things interesting.

Lot didn't even get good until season 2 and that's only cause they used characters from arrow and flash. without them it wouldnt even exist, having spin offs and that many seasons with overall a good rating from most critics and fan definitely prove it's successful. a successful show wouldn't go on that long if they were losing money.
also, the flash was also very good in seas 1 and 2, 3 and r are questionable, but it seems like you hold TV shows to a certain standard that literally none will hit.

Saints row and mass effect 4 life : Deadpool2’s script Sucked! A sad continuation to a pretty good start. Reynolds needs to rein in the corny jokes a lot. More of a comedy than a Marvel Super Hero. Whats up with saving the fat little kid. Whats next saving cats out of trees? The story sucked, as did the comic relief which was prettying much the entire film. This character could offer so much more to the Marvel universe. It’s like seeing the Green Lantern dressed up like Deadpool to me.

Why can't they just cast Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan?? He's pretty much the voice actor of Hal in the animated series and his look does fit the bill. Or just cast Samuel L. Jackson or some other other black actor that can look cool and menacing at the same time as John Stewart??

I liked the Green Lantern movie too and he also met his wife there. This is cute af!! I don't understand why they make such a big deal about it just because it wasn't well promoted and critics slammed the movie. They rushed into making it and it was a superhero movie amongst a lot of other movies with superheroes or fantasy/sci-fi content that year. Sure.... people can't go watch all movies on the cinema. The box office was low.... I get it. But it is not a bad movie.

It’s one of the things that I love about Ryan Reynolds is his willingness to make fun of himself. I’m certain that was the intent of the mid-credit sequence.

I wasn't too butthurt about the CGI in green latern...I kind of liked the movie, the visuals, the humor, the action, Ryan saying the oath was awesome...but one major aspect just ruined the whole thing and it was the story arch, one of the most strongest villains in the DC universe gets taken out in the first movie and the overall tone.
Maybe because I love Ryan Reynolds, I not only loved him (& Blake Lively) as the Green Lantern, but I own that movie!!! ❤️❤️❤️
