You're 100% correct. 900lb spring is the wrong length. Lucky its an easy fix

I searched everywhere and couldn’t find a 900lbs coil. I tried 1000lbs and it made the pedals way too high and stiff. I’ll try your solution thanks.

@@EUCXR yes twice. First with a correct coil then with the updated version from Begode that u have now.

when I wanted to order the extreme on aliexpress just before its release, begode asked 200 bucks more for the 900lbs because they said they had to have it manufactured by a factory. 1 week later, when the extreme came out, this spring was strangely included in the box at no extra cost. I think chance had the right spring, and that they fell back on the new one that you got without testing it because they perhaps had a supply or price problem on the good one.

work around on the benting rod(hollow). just put another rod(solid) in inside hollow rod for extra reinforcement.
    or
just buy a new 900lbs spring with longer lenght.

I have searched everywhere and couldn’t find a 900lbs coil for this wheel.

50mm/55mm spring needed. Based on your measurements the 900lb/in is 30mm. Since its lb/in that matters for compression reducing the stroke size reduces the capability of the spring to a linear 1000lbs vs the 1500lbs of the 750lb/in if 55mm of travel is available. 600lbs/in with 2 inches of travel will outperform that 900lb/in spring.

Thanks for the update. I had planned to change the 900lb spring to the 750lb after I got the wheel. In Jack's review, you could hear the bottom out with the 900, but the 750 didn't make the same clunk. How much effort is required to replace the spring? Do you have to remove battery cases, or is it as simple as removing the top bolt?

Its easy, you don’t need to dissassemble the hard to access part. unscrew preload ring completely till the spring is loose, Unscrew the rear bolt and remove it, then you can push the top plate out and remove it which allows the coil to slide out of the top (where the red rebound wheel is).

Do you mind to have video how to replace the spring from 900 lbs to 750? Thank you

Any ideas what could be causing tons of Stiction/friction in the sliders? Using 750lb coil, hard hole, tried adjusting all 4 grub screws that tighten/loosen the graphite bushings.. I’m just stuck and was just wondering if you had any ideas? I can send a video if needed

I sprayed “muck-off silicone spray” lubricant on the inner tube and have not had any problems yet, 300km in. Then only issue i had was when there was no spring, if I compressed the suspension to the max, the motor/wheel would get stuck in the “all the way up” position.
