I understood Dilla's verse after 1 year of jazz drum school. Drumming is a door that opens a huge new chamber in the discovery and appreciation of his style. So remarkable.
I really wish there is footage of Dilla making just one beat even if its 20 seconds footage. I will die in peace..

Last point was so true, this is really one of the best verses ever, it's insane. Just about every single word rhymes, unique flow too!
A lot of peeps didn't know about this particular George Duke LP.I'm not going to pretend that I did.This shows that Dilla mastered taking half a second pieces of something to make a composition.

One of my favorite songs from the Fantastic album.
Dilla's verse about "roll in a 500 that's really a 320" was about a cat that had 320 Mercedes.The 500 was the hot whip at the time & he had his plate made into a 500.Clown!
