I've owned five Harley touring models from 2006 to 2018... The least mileage I put on one was 62,000 The most was 143,000.... I have never had the factory shift linkage break. If you need to fill people full of shit to make CZcams videos maybe you should get into real estate?
@@JonsMotorcycles they are on the market because they are c&c cut and two color bling.... Like every bolt on doodad.... It's not because the original equipment breaks.
Haven't ever had it happen to me either but a quick search of Harley forums would suggest it is fairly common on the touring bikes especially. Just because you've never experienced it doesn't mean its not a common problem, dunno why you are so aggressively negative to somebody discussing a fix for it. I traded off an 09 Ultra Classic that I put 96,000 on and never changed or had the shift linkage break!!! The fancy ones are purely cosmetic.
