I was a little Leary of the cinnamon but it made a great extra touch, and of course butter makes everything better! And now 1 yr later I’m taking some baked beans to Labor Day BBQ and thought about this recipe and so I found this video again so I can make it!
Made this two weeks ago and it was perfect! I cooked my onions and green peppers with my meat. But other than that, I followed your directions. It was a perfect dish for a party and I have gotten requests to make again!
I’m going to have to try this! I’ve been watching video after video and they all put hot and spicy stuff in it. Well I’m a baby with spicy food and I personally like sweet baked beans. So when added all that brown sugar I knew I’d like them, haha! I’ve never seen anyone put cinnamon or butter in beans though, that’s interesting. Can you taste a lot of cinnamon? As for the butter..we’ll everything is better with butter!
Haha! Definitely give it a try, you’ll love it. You can taste a pinch of the cinnamon, but it blends really well with all of the other flavors. You’ll hardly recognize it.

No you can pretty much do everything exactly how I did but put it on top of your stove
my large cans are 117 ozs surely you are not 234 oz baked beans ? are making enough for a city wide party? I wonder what size is a large can is?

What does the mustard do for the beans?
It helps balance out the sweetness. Once you mix everything together you won’t even taste it

A good 20-30 mins is all it needs
You did not sauté your veggies they will be crunchy 😳👎🏾🤔
