I made these for my husband and he loved them!!!! As a Mexican American, I admit tacos, Pozole, birria, chile rellenos get old lol So I wanted to spice up the menu for my hubby and made these beans with some potatoe salad and fried fish...he absolutely loved it all! Thank you for sharing recipes🤗

I will dice green bell pepper in my recipe and sometimes add browned ground beef to the ingredients but I am gonna try your recipe for a family gathering that is happening next month. This recipe is pretty close to what my mom taught me to make for our BBQ beans and they are always so delicious. I just use more bacon but not the sausage, I will have to try this version too.
