Something every homeowner should do on their own.
Buy a couple aerosol cans of cleaner from a big box store, cheap maintenance for a outside unit.
Cleaner looks like it did a Great Job. Clean Coils are Important for Maximum Efficiency. 👍
How the customer was talking about his hallway being hot lol then disappeared 😂
Better show that client how to replace filters. No need for an evaporator coil to get that dirty. Nice job Curtis.👍👍🇨🇦
You mean some people actually change them?
@@jthonn hahaha
@jthonn since I have to fix everything that breaks so I bought a year supply of filter for my parents house and make em change it monthly to keep dust down and the A coil is beautiful since installed over 8 years now and spotless ,condenser always clean as well no problems just a capacitor that was 3 years ago ,the filters paid for them self as preventive maintenence ,my ac doesn't struggle never what more could I ask for 😊😊😊😊
cool, literally@@FirstnameLastname007
Used hundreds of gallons of Tri-Power over the years. Works great in factories situations where there is oil/grease in the air. Also used on regular customers coils that I kept clean after 1st visit. If it's super impacted use a standard cleaner (not micro) as foam helps push it out.
did a good clean job. now the customer will be happy and you will be happy. glad the found the problem to your knee. be bless.
They have excellent products. I've been using the blue Nu-Brite for over twenty years with great success. Thanks for the videos Curtis.
Glad you like them!
A nice clean up Curtis, Keep cool over there.. We are just starting to get warmer days over here 😀 Au
thanks for the video great job wish we had some good hvac repair men in our area.
Excellent cleaning curtis 👍
Hey Buddy,What happened to the debris,,pine needles ect,,,,on the inside bottom? Gave you a like!
Nucalgon makes some of the best products on the market 😊
Both coils wearing a fur coat! Nice work Curtis!
Subcool pretty high, maybe overcharged a bit? Nice cleaning job.
Sometimes after washing those micro channel coils the water will stick to it acting as a restriction which was probably why you had about 390 at the start. Enjoy the videos Curtis
That condenser is looking super clean now sir!
That was pretty interesting and dirty. Not to mention hot.
Looked like there was a bunch of debris on the bottom inside the condenser coil. Why not vacuum that stuff up first before you clean the coil?
Well that's not what's causing the high pressure, it's a dirty coil. And this looks to be a warranty company call where Curtis doesn't make much on profit with those kinda jobs. He wanted to get in and out.
That stuff worked great. Should have used that little you had left on the evaporator. Hind sight is 20/20. It turned out really good. I had some coil cleaner for the evaporator (the foam stuff) and I used what was left over on the condenser. Anyone that hasn't cleaned their coils in a while really should do it with all this heat going on. The more air you can get flowing through those coils the better. I have used action degreaser with great success. Last time I mixed up some dawn in a spray bottle and it worked great. Even if you just spray it out with the hose, beats doing nothing. Don't bend up the fins, for crying out loud. It is amazing the difference in efficiency after you do it.
Looks like the Nu Calgon cleaner works at dissolving the crud pretty good. Keep dehydrated I know it’s blistering your way as it made it up to 86 here in the mountains
We are a Rheem dealer in NC, and obviously we service a lot of pkg units. We use the Tri-Power HD for all of our coil cleanings. I like it because it can do both the regular and the micro channel coils. I use water on the micro channels, but sometimes the cleaner has to be used to get the embedded dirt out.
I cleaned a York micro the other day with the same stuff you used. Man was it dirty. It’s interesting that York states NOT to use any cleaners. Water only. That wouldn’t have touched the unit I cleaned. Full of grease, dirt, grass and all kinds of crap.
Good trouble shooting. It seems that company contacting other ac tech company to be they sponsor
Subcool high = most probably overcharged.
But did I miss the part where cover was taken off and only “inside out” wash was done?
How do I now if my AC unit is a micro coil?
This is the Old gas station clerk Brandon. I used to work at the store you came into everyday. Not gonna say the name but the initials are HRF is the top fan on the hvac unit is it supposed to blow hot air?
In the summer yes
On a micro channel I always blow out the water. It locks the water in and increases the head pressure. Doesn’t dry like a normal coil.
Hot in GA today 🔥 🥵 I got 3 tomorrow and 1 Sunday
I hate hail guards
All I ever have time for is work and getting ready for work the next day. 😒👎 😎👍
You gonna post videos homie? Lol jk, enjoyed your stuff though
@@jericosha2842 Haha, I appreciate that. Thanks for watching my little videos. 😎👍
