almost 39 minutes of a chimp with a machine gun
Underrated comment
People are liking this? This chicanery?!? He's done worse!
The truth is, this comment never really mattered very much to me at all.
You mean this? This chicanery? What a sick joke!
You've got one part of that wrong. this, is not a chimp with a machine gun.
*proceeds to blow up the entire world*
38 minutes of screentime for the main character of the entire bb/bcs universe is insane
Well he has more screen-time in BB, these are not all full scenes.
Wow they really set up that Nacho/Lalo cartel arch outta nowhere. And finishing season 6, that scene is even better
ikr? i used to laugh when Saul freaked out in the desert scene then after finishing S6 the PTSD kicked in
As much as I hate to give him credit - Chuck was right all along, Jimmy couldn’t help himself when he saw something as big as Heisenberg
good o'l slippin' jimmy
I'm gonna touch you@@ayoschmuck1177
yeah and chuck coulda helped if he actually supported jimmy. chuck was his reason to stay straight. when there was no more chuck, there was no more reason, there was no more McGill. just goodman.
@@Dripxo what’s worse is you see how much Chuck actually depended on Jimmy and he helped without complaining for the most part - but he’s still bitter and just as manipulative, holier than thou
Yet there are still moments in season 1 where they actually talk like family with no kind of malice
If Chuck encouraged his brother to continue as a lawyer, Jimmy would have an incentive to do the right thing. For example, in season one Jimmy has several million dollars belonging to the Kettlemans. However, instead of keeping the money, he gives it away as it was the right thing to do and what Chuck would have wanted. Only when Chuck rejects Jimmy does he express that he regrets not keeping the money, returning to a life of swindling. To an extent, the creation of Saul Goodman can be attributed to Chuck's inability to believe in his brother.
the fact this came out ages before better call saul the lalo thing makes so much sense.. great detail
Lol I love how Better Call Saul was written after this and they perfectly wrote in the Ignacio (Nacho) and Lalo thing explaining why he was so afraid.
You dont want a criminal lawyer, you want a CRIMINAL laywer 😂
After seeing what Jimmy went through , watching him act as this sleezy lawyer is honestly heartbreaking. Bravo vince
Probably the greatest comedian actor.
That be Bryan Cranston, but Bob's not bad
@@mrratman9472 Bryan is not a comedian.
@@andersthrige1he’s a comedic actor
@@ericsilver9401but Bob is an actual comedian. Started out doing standup; made his name doing sketch comedy.
@@user-bm7vl7rt5o my reply is to another reply just above it. In that reply, he/she is focused on Bryan Cranston, who is a comedic actor in the traditional sense. I know Bob is a comedian, his skit show is still one of my favorites.
10:16 game over screens in the arkham games be like
😂
Saul was so good that a series bbc as made for him. What an actor wow
Bbc
Bcs
@@asafeibba4420 bro had to clear it up a month later
Saul Goodman built for bbc
Saul is do damn competent, none of these people deserved him.
It’s ironic how incompetent this sentence is.
@@chrisp2813 Pretty sure I was in the shower when I wrote this so I was doing it with my one, non wet finger. Lol
@@BOBINDUN all love G
Badger did, he's cool.
For all the people who say chuck was right, I’d argue it was a self fulfilling prophecy. Think about how jimmy could have turned out with help and support. Heck, with supportive parents that didn’t dismiss his concerns and didn’t leave him to figure out his dark view of the world himself. Think about what a different motivation he would have had if chuck had ever had the ability to actually be proud of him. Maybe put him through school? Supported him through college when he was younger. Came home more often and actually TALKED to jimmy instead of just looking down on him.
I‘m not saying its all chucks fault but who knows what just one good and helpful relationship in his formative years could have done for him.
The biggest thing is that Chuck never believed in Jimmy. He could never look at Jimmy and see someone who worked hard to achieve anything, just a shyster who swindled his way through life. If Chuck had just given Jimmy a job at HHM once her passed the bar and given him a chance, Jimmy could have turned into the best lawyer at that firm, maybe even become a second M in HHM like Howard did. But no he never believed in him and it set Jimmy down a path of being exactly what chuck said he was and lead to chucks own death
Man, i love this character. I think he deserves his own show sometime in future.
7:07 that little scene of saul looking dejected takes on a new meaning after bcs, before it implied he was upset walt isnt cooking or that walt reminded him of one of his past marriages but after we know he was thinking about him and kims divorce
Love your scene packs man. Saves me the time re watching the whole show.
5:41 I swear Saul looks like Chuck here 😮😮😮
ur so real for this!! can you do one for the better call saul seasons too 👀
That would be the whole show
@@MAG-nl2nt a scene pack usually has just the most interesting and impactful parts?? or they’re themed
“Just uh… promise me you won’t hang yourself in the closet.” 😂😂
8:34 when did his mother remarry? This has to either be a forgotten throwaway line or they genuinely didn’t consider it for bcs lol
probably a forgotten line but maybe sometime after jimmys dad died
The writers of Better Call Saul talked about how that line in particular was what they struggled with the most in making the prequel. If I remember correctly they went ahead and addressed him having a second wife while he was filing the paperwork for his and Kim’s marriage, and I think they chalked the whole “cheated on me with my stepdad” line on one of those crazy things that Jimmy says while in his Saul character that isn’t really true.
nah I think it was a joke
Saul has some dark humor in him like when he found out Skyler was gonna divorce Walter "just...dont hang yourself in the closet alright?
My favorite character
Life saver
11:41 my favorite scene , Saul teaching Jesse a lesson
Jimmy just destroying Hank with that comeback was pure cooking at its finest
Your awesome
Saul aka Jimmy is the only one who Hank never had a comeback for.
the battle of wits
i noticed they had the longest rivalry in that universe, from Hank hating Saul already in BCS , in BB when Badger was arrested , when Saul made fun of Hank when he was in a wheelchair then it ended when Saul met Marie
Save your time. Editing is atrocious. At least 4 good quips omitted from scenes in first 3 min
Never thought about the fact that Saul is really the catalyst for the fallout of Breaking Bad
" is that you talking or Yoko Ono "😂😂😂😂

Explaining EDP
How did you get these clips without music?
watching the show
Wow! The Lalo and Nacho reference didn’t make sense until BCS. These guys were really thinking ahead.
he definitely could played Steve Jobs
I know a guy who knows a guy who knows an another guy.
3:29 first time we know about Lalo, the most terrifying villain in BB universe, is through this hilarious scene 💀
Ive decided to start into the breaking bad universe
What do you all recommend that i start with, breaking bad or better call saul?
Go with BB first. You'll get the bigger picture. Therein you'll find this interesting Saul Goodman character. Then watch BCS and let your mind be blown away by awesomeness
@@keyurbshrimali okay going to take your advice my man
Tonight i watch BB
@@joedwyer3297watch better call Saul first you get to see all the events that led to breaking bad and it will change your perspective even the guy that plays Gus said it’s better to watch it like that
How's that going for you?
@@mr.personalspace7831 fantastic mate ive now seen them all and at season 3 bb rewatching it😂
Cant believe i put off watching them for so long what a brilliant pair of shows man
W
they mustve had the script for better call saul when breaking bad was still on the air, because when walt & jesse kidnap him & take him to the desert, he asks 'did lalo send you' , and he proclaims 'it was ignacio'.
They definitely used that scene as inspiration for names for major characters in bcs.
It was a throwaway line that they built the series off of. I don’t think they intended on Lalo being a Salamanca.
He means that it was Ignacio who betray him (Lalo) not Saul, he thinks Lalo was trying to revenge his family and he believed that Lalo was still alive because Lalo survives in Mexico and kill Howard, so Lalo gave him PTSD.
I laughed when the "lalo sent you?" scene played
then after watching BCS you see Saul traumatized and its not that funny
Occupational hazard 😂
Why are his lips so RED!!!
Even tho chuck came across as a pos brother, he was right about Jimmy all along
Yeah, inasmuch as he made it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Only because he never allowed Jimmy to become anything but Slippin' Jimmy.
" pink , pink man, get it "😂😂😂😂😂
Skipping some of the best parts
