In this tutorial I try to explain how to use the code finder. The code finder lets you find out which pieces of code are responsible for changing certain values.
There's not much difference between writes and access, but a value that doesn't change often is never written, so access will find that one while write won't As for [ ] that means to interpret the value between the [ ] as an address instead of a value, and depending on the instruction do something with it. Like read the value at that address, or increase it, or something else.
@@cheat_engine I have the same problem. I found the right address and checked that it changes value with the tutorial. But when I click "find out what writes to this address" the next screen is empty. Even after I click change value again with the new screen up, nothing shows up in the new screen. Edit: Found the solution. I had to re-load the tutorial and it worked

i have one question my cheat engine dont load numbers in "find out write to this andress" open window but not load numbers (sorry my english)
