Omgosh, I just made the banana nut bread from the Jiffy Mix recipe on the box. It’s the same recipe my Mother made when I was Luke’s age. Of course I’ve the same maple syrup. Good old America where we are so spoiled with good, familiar products that are currently still available and on the store shelves.
I’m so glad you are getting this time with your family and exposing Luke to America and his American extended family.
I thought it was precious when you were getting Luke ready to go and you asked him if he knew where he was going and he said, to see daddy. I think he misses his daddy. Luke is such a sweet, sensitive, intelligent, wise little boy.
I’m wondering how your new little one is doing through all this traveling, time changes, climate changes, sleeping changes and the food changes. I can only hope your mom prepared and bought lots of pickles for you to munch on. Are you feeling baby move around yet? How is she doing these days? Is she communicating? Maybe if I call the baby she, she’ll be one? Well you know I tried anyway. I just hope/pray that baby number three is as adorable, healthy, handsome and happy as Luke and Leon.
