    Oh this is brilliant! Thank you so much! Can you tell me how to download photos to the brand kit? Is it the same procedure? Thank you!

      If they're your photos already on your computer you can upload straight into the brand kit from the Home page. If they're Canva ones, yes, you can use this same technique! Just make sure you save them really large so they stay high quality.

      @@jacquinaunton thank you so much I already have them downloaded in Canva… I just wasn't sure how to save them in the brand kit! I haven't even tried yet I just should've tried first I suppose! I love your work you're so talented thank you thank you! 🙏🏼

    This was so helpful. I was wondering how to get elements into the brand kit. You are the first to teach me about svg files so that's exciting. And I have a question... How do you refresh?? I didn't notice that option anywhere thus far. I end up closing out canva and reopening it.

      Are you using the canva app or browser? :)

    • @DanaWinand
      @DanaWinand Před 6 měsíci

      I'm not real thrilled with the app so I use the browser about 98% of the time@@jacquinaunton

    Thank you! What if you saved the cloud as an SVG file as well? Would you be able to change the color of it once uploaded in Canva again from the brand kit?

    • @jacquinaunton
      @jacquinaunton  Před 9 měsíci +2

      Unfortunately not! It’s a pixel based image, not “vector”. We can only edit colours of vector images. If an image can’t change colour before you save it, it won’t start changing colour after you save it as an svg :)

    You don't need to do the shape trick. If you place a single element on a page and then save ONLY that page, you can still save as a transparent svg and add it to your brand kit.

    • @jacquinaunton
      @jacquinaunton  Před měsícem

      It’s true. :) I just find when you do that often the page isn’t the same dimensions as the element so you’re left with lots of space around the element that gets in the way when trying to work with it :)

    This is amazing thank you! Seemed strange I couldn't figure out how to do this... I followed your instructions but when I tried to add new in my brand kit it said "Upload Error. You might be logged off, offline or Canva's servers are unreachable" - but I am connected, I reopened, I can do anything else but not this... Any idea? I was saving a svg file (also new info to me!!)

      @jacquinaunton  Před 3 měsíci

      Glad to help! Hmm can you upload any other file to the kit or does it always give same response? If always dining it, perhaps try again tomorrow, or from a different browser (or even a computer restart) xx

    Jacqui, I've tried doing it several times with a shape (a cloud) and it won't let me change the color once I upload it in my brand kit graphics. Any idea why?? Thanks for your videos you are the best!

    • @jacquinaunton
      @jacquinaunton  Před 4 měsíci

      Hmm so the cloud CAN change colour before you try saving it? :)

      @sofiapinto7533 Před 4 měsíci

      @@jacquinaunton yes definitely! It is a cloud from “shapes”.

    • @jacquinaunton
      @jacquinaunton  Před 4 měsíci

      Hmmm that’s strange. And you’ve definitely saved it as an SVG transparent file?

  • @12deeps

    Cool! How do I save a text box onto my Brand kit??? Plus, could your speak slower?

    • @jacquinaunton
      @jacquinaunton  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You won’t be able to save an editable text box to your brand kit unless you are saving it as an image file (I recommend a transparent PNG).
      If my speaking is too fast some people prefer to listen to my videos on a slower speed :)
