I have some ferns in my back yard. Never thought to cut them for display!!! Looks beautiful.
my son is 15 and I do the same-1 blue jean1 black jean and all different kind of shirts. in winter same gray,black and blue sweats and different kind of T and he always look like he matches
I found vinegar in the wash cycle will take that fabric softener smell out of the clothes. I also always add a cup of vinegar with my sheets. Makes them whiter.
The very first time I saw your video I'm hooked and I subscribed right away. You set a good example and a good soldier for the environment and for the planet. I'm starting to be conscious of how I contribute positively to my environment and wished I had started when I was younger but I'm trying. It's hard living in the heart of NYC with a lots of temptations but I believe its doable and better late than never. I love your Scandinavian sense of decor. My favorite design.
By the way, I'm finding out there's a lot of vloggers out there similar to your endeavors but yours are genuine and heartfelt, simple and easygoing and funny as well. More power to you Noemi! Can't wait for your website
I enjoyed the walking path. So peaceful. Buying at resale shops are so much fun. I agree eco friendly and saves tons of money so extra goes to buying real nice items for 🏠

Thank you for this wideo. Ha, I enjoy how you pronounce some of the words. I watched this before beginning my day. You inspired me to be cheerful, prepare healthy food and be productive! I am creating a new large vegetable garden at our new home. I do not till the ground. I preserve the eco structure of the soil and just layer straw, sawdust, compost, worm castings and organic fertilizer on top. Then plant the plants on that. I will have fresh vegetables for my family and I will preserve food for the winter. I want to learn to prepare the kind of food that you make. I’m glad I found your channels.
Laure I'm so glad too you find my channels it's so great to have you here and on the other channel as well. We did the same vegetable garden in our previous home and we did a lot's of composting. We moved here last year so we still have to re create this things and I'm looking forward to it! 😊🧡🌼x

Yes! I agree. Goodwill has ridiculous prices sometimes! I like Salvation Army or savers thrift stores. Your boys are growing big and strong! 👍🏾
Yes it's a hit and miss but the coats has great price so I buy those there. I don't know if it's just my area but kids clothes in thrift store has less selection literally a few of them.😊🌼🧡xx

When I moved to Florida from NYC, I walked right into a depression/recession. I relied very heavily on Goodwill and other thrift stores for furniture, clothing and kitchenware. Soon, they re-named it "The Good Will Boutique" and as you said the prices were higher than in the store where you could buy new ones. I was disgusted by the greed. Good Will should be a place where families can shop and save money and where the proceeds are used to help the less fortunate. I had always donated heavily to them too. As you know, I am now a nurse, a mental health nurse, and we treat a lot of the homeless who need to utilize thrift stores for their needs as well. I love that you found a place that uses the proceeds to feed the homeless and the needy. In my opinion there are no where near enough places that help the needy. I am a huge advocate of always being human and always helping our fellow humans. xxxxxxxxxxx Thank you Noemi for being you and for another great video. BTW- Love those flowers on the window. Kimberlee you have the biggest heart for sure! You are so kind and loving and I agree lot's of people need help who has mental illness. mental illness sometimes not visible but it can disable so many people. I agree we need more secondhand stores like that! xoxoxoxox :) 🧡🧡🌼

Hi Noemi, great video and thank you your suggestions. I got the brush for dish washing and it is so much easier to wash the dishes. Thanks again. About the rice, if you put it in a fabric bag (like a small pillow case or your fabric gift bags), add some salt in it and tie it tightly, it will be good for months. Salt keeps the bugs away. Oh that's awesome. I was wondering about the bugs because somebody suggested the fabric bag but with salt it does make sense. We get some ants once in a while. Thank you again I will try to find an old pillowcase for that and you have a wonderful weekend too! 😄🌼🧡

Nice video, we do find some great secondhand clothes, that have the original price tag on them. Great way to help the environment. I wish I had spent the time getting my children to put away their own clothes, it would have helped me with the laundry.
Honestly when boys pairing the socks it helps me so much. That's the time consuming part I really don't mind the folding but socks part sucks! 😂

Yes, I think Goodwill is too expensive...especially since they get the items for free. We used to shop often at the Salvation Army thrift store for clothes, furniture, housewares, all kinds of things. You got some great bargains! I am afraid to buy clothing from any charity shop incase of contamination. Hopefully the steam iron helped. Washing them first in the hottest temperatures with extra rinses would help with fabric softener residue. Surely there are great bargains in stores for teashirts and shorts. I like how you talked about goodwill. I worked at one for a year as a part time job but left because they pay their employees min wage and the CEO makes a fortune. I always thought they did all this
Good work. Not true. They do a little but they are a for profit business and they have raised their prices way out of line from a reasonable fee. Got really greedy
Yes they went from non profit to a profit one and even tho it would be still okay if they are affordable so they would help people who can't afford more but the prices are ridicules.
They ask you to round up the final bill too.

Man I have such a hard time finding clothing for my kids at second hand stores around my area. I find my clothes there but not my kids. I’ve started going to stores that are closing for my kids clothes. I just recently went to The Children’s Place and got clearance items for my daughter that were a dollar. I know it’s not as good as going to second hand stores so for my part to help I always donate my kids clothes to families that need them. So I’m still decluttering and helping at the same time.
Yes same issue here I just told Zsolt I don't understand where are the kids clothes go. I was so lucky this time but we couldn't find a long pants and a sweatshirt I went to old navy because it's fit's my older ones body type. I like Hannah Anderson too but nothing is in that size more like a baby ones there but we have an outlet store in the town and sometimes I get shirts for the boys (organic ones) for 8 dollars.😃🧡🌼xx

That is a big bag of rice!!!! 😂 It seems that if you stick some dried bay leaves in rice, legumes, flour.... they keep unwanted bugs out of them and you won't have to throw food away 💚💚

Fern in a glass jar! Genius! How did I not think of that?! :) I have the same issue with ivy in our front yard, arghh! Do you already know what you will plant instead? By the way, I am concerned that you will get little white worms in your rice if you leave it out in that bag for too long... Xxxx
Hopefully none of the fuzzy ivy was poison ivy. Ugh...that stuff can take over and so hard to get rid of. Your house is looking so good. I'm slowing remodeling my house and its a slow process. I like to shop at second hand stores, but I'm like you. I stopped buying any clothes at Goodwill. Way too expensive.
That Ivy is everywhere and you are right it's here for good constant fight to get rid of it! Ha ha yes we are constantly working on this house too. Yes Goodwill become so expensive!😊🧡🌼

Nina that sounds so good I'm drooling here. I made a sushi with my little one in one of my older vlog 😊🧡🌼 Just cook the rice and add 1 tsp apple cider vinegar on the end and a little honey if it doesn't stick together ( I use regular rice because it's cheaper) I actually have 2 vlogs where I show how I make my the sushi. Thank you April, yes I was super lucky I've got what I went for usually it takes more visit to gather what we need. We do year around and we take weeks off here and there. We sure take it easier on the summer. Thank you so much he is all good now and riding his bike again like nothing happened 😊🌼🧡

Another thing, we love buying clothes from a second hand store as well. The kids grow up really fast so there's no point of buying brand new all the time. My kids and your kids are also similar esp my 14 year old son because he also love doing puzzles and building stuff. Anyway, I just love watching your videos... Very inspiring and I can really say that my kids and I enjoy watching your videos esp your family vlogs. My kids think that you are so funny... 😁😉😄♥️🌹🍒🌷🌻🌺
Aww that so sweet I love when families watching my videos together it's very heartwarming! Yes both my boys into building things (or taking apart lol) and I would love to walk with you I go for a walk usually with my boys or alone because we do it in a spirit of the moment when we have a little time or need for a good self care and it's hard to find walking buddy's. My husband prefers bike lol 😄🧡🌼 I hope you feel better soon! Drink lot's of coconut water or even better apple cider vinegar water it always helps me when I don't feel good. 😊🧡xx

I finally found an awesome walking buddy😄😁♥️!!! But seriously, having a walking buddy motivates me to go for a walk... After walking for an hour it really feels good. Thank you for your reply and for your encouragement to drink water, esp with apple cider vinegar. I struggle with that because I don't like drinking water... Only tea😁. what are the recipes for the first 2 items you made one was in apie plate the other was a square with a fancy top. I do noy buy at Goddwill because i feel the owner “Goodwill CEO and Owner Mark Curran, who profits $2.3 million a year.” is not fair paying to his employees.He raises prices so he can make a profit.. He is a millionaire off of second hand clothing , nothing wrong with that if you are paying your employee a good wage.We do not have the church you had mentioned that helps the homeless out.
I must add my clutter that is waist deep in a pile ina corner in my basement will be all gone June 8th community yard sale YIPPY SKIPPY !! I put a basket in my clset going out the front door when it is filled I will take it to the Senior Center. as the money they make they have trips & parties with the money that is made. i also give to womens shelters. I will be so happy when this STUFF is all gone from me I will feel FREEDOM ! Loved this video have a lovely Memorial weekend we will have a picnic ( Judy )
I agree! It is totally unfair to the employees! I haven't donated items there for over a decade. There's another one the Value Village I donate there and I shop there. It has better prices then the Goodwill. I wish there would be more secondhand stores! Good luck with your yard sale you will feel amazing after! He likes it he thinks it brings him luck. This hat is from Hungary and the pattern was beautiful on it. It had golden half moons and stars on it I loved it and he probably loves it because I loved it too :)
