  • Quick review and run thru on the one that definitely beats Snap On tpms4.
    The TS508 is a all in one tpms tool covering 98% of vehicles out on the market.
    paired with the new style MX sensors it's a slam dunk on any tpms jobs.
    The new style MX sensors are 100% universal on 315 and 433 MHz all in one.
    Also the quick Snap-On or Clamp-In valves makes it a easy way to keep the stock look.

    I have the same Autel TPMS tool. I love that tool works awesome and I've had many different ones. Including Snap On in my arsenal.

    I just bought the Autel TS501. This scanner is all in one for TPMS. It ID's each sensor and gives battery, temp and pressure. It such a great tool, and the price is very reasonable.

      I just bought the TS501 also. I think the only difference between this one and the 508 is the quick mode stuff where you can program up to 16 at once and similar big shop functions. The 501 can do the same tasks, but is geared more towards the DIY or smaller shop that doesn't need duplication and quick programming.of multiple devices. I think I made the right choice since I fall in the DIY category and this tool does more than I need. I only wish it did more OBDII related stuff as icing on the cake, like reading trouble codes etc. because I could use a tool like that as well. Why not combine them. Databyter

    Yea that's kinda cool with the autel were that you can place the tpms with in the tool and pre program before actually installing in the rim Its seems more convenient rather than installing a sensor than once the job is done and then come to find out that the light is still on the cluster than halfing to use a scanner to walk around the whole car to reprogram or to test weather each sensor is operating properly which is more time consuming

    The TS 608 is a good tool and it has lifetime updates, Autel also has online tpms coverage websites to let you know that your tool will do it. I will say that if you ever are having trouble with the tool make sure it is updated because it will drive you nuts when it doesn't work right. When it works right it's a super quick and can make you money.

    I used to feel that I have to have a stand-a-lone unit but now I just need the job at hand done! so I always use a scanner where I can to complete tasks....and yes the ts508 along with autel sensors gives great coverage, i'v had the ts508 since it came out and works great, I still use my ts401(its still being updated as of 1 month ago) and also have the matco mdmaxtpms and obd2 module....its like the scanners you cant get away with just one....good vid jim

      This is completely false. The Autel TPMS tool will work with many sensors in the aftermarket. VDO, Jon-Dow, Ori-Tek, and all OE sensors. These tools can also do relears on any pre programmed sensors. czcams.com/video/vwMxHx8WoYw/video.html

    • @FlashPerformance
      @FlashPerformance Před 4 lety

      @@mudbugsoff-road4081 "Will it Clone other aftermarket sensors" the answer to that is no. It will not clone other manufacturers blank sensors. Here is a video I did on what sensors and types it will work with. czcams.com/video/vwMxHx8WoYw/video.html Your original comment was about aftermarket sensor coverare. There are a lot of sensors the Autel tool works with is what I was getting at. The perception that it only works with Autel sensors is incorrect.

    I have the older autel tpms tool, can’t remember the name of it. It won’t work on a lot of the cars I work on and when it can it’s slow and kinda just junk really. Which is why I then bought the Tpms4. On some domestic cars the Tpms4 is doesn’t work very well. But the autel does in those cases. So between the two I’m pretty well covered. But in hindsight I wish I’d just bought this newer autel tool instead. But oh well.
