- My 1966 C2 Corvette gets the exhaust system installed. A tubing kit, a welder, and some patience is all it takes to put together a custom exhaust system for any car. See how I did it on my Corvette project in this video.
The wood blocks and ratchet straps combo is a great idea for maintaining location, orientation, and spacing. Going to use that when I do mine...Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. I like your attention to detail. That is going to be one beautiful Sting Ray.
Fingers crossed!
Great video, Thanks for taking the time to make it! Really helps me visualize what I'm going to do on my project. It looks so clean the way you did it.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Dick super nice work as always.
Thanks for watching all my videos and for the nice comments.
Very nice work, thanks for taking the time and making the effort to share your talents with us.
My pleasure!
Thanks for showing all the hard work you are putting in. This corvette is shaping up to be a real beauty
Glad you enjoy it!
Dick- you did a masterful job of fabricating the exhaust for your Corvette. I was wondering if you considered an X-pipe or an H-pipe in the system. I have a C5 with the LS1 and Chevy used an H-pipe supposedly to tune the exhaust drone out of the system. I’ve also heard that the crossover pipes equalize pressure between cylinder banks which improves performance. Just found your channel and I love it. You are a master craftsman and truly a soon all trades automotive.
I meant to type Jack of all trades automotive.
Yes, I considered it but eventually decided it was more trouble than it was worth. Thanks for your comment.
