It’s very inspiring to hear you talk about how you found peace in the ritual rather than a specific notebook size. Ultimately that matters more and makes journaling sustainable while also allowing you to play in different notebooks.
Your point about being consistent rather than worrying about the system is at the heart of why people don’t get planner peace. The peace comes from the experience. This is the video I needed to hear! This is the video we all needed to hear. #plannerphilosophy101
Just beautiful!!! Love your neatness and beautiful writing! I agree about the "planner peace". It is being happy in whatever format you decide to write in. I also love notebooks, different kinds. I make my notbooks/planners work for me! Being consistent in writing is key, I agree. Love your channel!
Thank you so much! So many people are saying my notebook is neat and my handwriting is beautiful and I’m so glad you can’t see up close and realise it really is not 🤣 here’s to loving notebooks 🥰
I definitely know what you mean about finding something that you can practice in the way that works for you! I have struggled massively with being swept along by whatever journal people are moving too, its nice to work out your own style and way of doing things!
Thank you. I’m learning to be inspired by what people are doing with their notebooks rather than what notebook they are in, been a very healthy mindset change for me. X
Thanks! Me too! Can’t believe there is so much black ink. (Oh thank you for the compliment! My handwriting is not neat or consistent at all but I like it now that I’m in a 5mm grid and have more space) xx
1st week of using my TRC with a planner inserted at the office (journalling I already did a bit in it) and I already noticed that I can remember better what I did during what task and when on the day I did it. So far the planner in hours and tasks isn't 100% accurate but at least the tasks done and within an hour timespan are noted correctly enough as work is as unpredictable as Dutch politics. Now I have a dedicated ring binder (Kokuyo Campus B5) for function/sector-related learnings, a Rhodia wire-bound A5 for notes and common placing (that contains very sensitive info as I don't wanna trash my TRC inserts). TRC Notebook with 018 weekly planner and cream blank refill for work/journalling and a Midori MD A6 Notebook for personal journalling (mental state and such, all non-related things to that will be transferred over to TRC). Going to Dutch Pen Show at 2nd of June, is there anything I need to have an eye out for you ike pens/inks or little stationery? Local big players like Akkerman and Appelboom are present so there will be some hidden gems for sure.
@@Jojournals90 travelers notebooks are great! 🤣. I have ADHD - focus, and I’ve accepted that I like hopping from planner to planner for different reasons. But I keep up my Weeks, mostly for checklists, my SI Standard TN (work planner) - it’s in a beautiful untanned leather WHP Standard TN cover with a few Travelers accessories, I memory keep in my SI - B6 and Hemlock and oak

It’s taking a long time to get here, but it makes sense. I’m sort of baffled I didn’t get there sooner. X

Aww thank you! I’m kind of regretting being in my pyjamas instead of some fancy outfit whilst coming to this epiphany. 🤣🤣
Searching for planner peace and coming to the realization that is all within me and not a notebook. Enlightened! TYSM❣️✨

I love how your journal insert turned out. Your handwriting is stunning!

Such a great video and very wise words about building healthy habits and ritual 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Thank you! Xx
Beautiful!
I have an amazing stencil from Archer & Olive and a great set from notebook therapy!

Very good point!
B6 Slim and A6 are great to journal in!
I’ve actually gone back to my travelers notebook, I guess I’ve found my system after all 🤣

Congratulations on finishing an insert! I finished mine last week!
Thank you! And congratulations on finishing your insert too!
What notebooks are you using?
Mainly traveler’s notebook and the two I showed are MD paper b6 slim and A6. X
