I remembered watching the video and hadn't realised it had 'gone'. I am so glad you decided to make it public/ visible again. It is wonderful to listen and understand the hiking, adventuring Athena as also the mum-to-be Athena. When I was expecting my baby I felt elated but I also felt I had turned into a vessel, and felt a bit lost and scared about the change. Continuing to ride my bike(s) throughout pregnancy made me feel so empowered to continue being me. After my baby arrived I struggled with the change - a rollercoaster of emotions to be honest, happiness mixed with "oh no where is my old me, I will never be 'me' again" - it took me a long while to discover and create that amazing bond with my baby and I felt so guilty about it and that something was wrong with me, talking then to many other new mums I discovered it was totally normal. As women we are made to feel that motherhood means that a) if we love our kids then we have to sacrifice everything for them and b) it is all simply wonderful (Instagram doesn't help to be honest ha!). It is instead so important to normalise the tough bits too, and the more we can hear about the normal ups and downs of pregnancy and motherhood the more positive experiences all women can have! Long comment to say, continue to be you, do the videos you want to do and keep sharing snippets of your pregnancy whenever you want. It is so lovely to see the joy and happiness in you and Harvey, and the balance that new life can bring to the sadness of loss of loved ones. Lots of love to you and your growing family! xx

Let me tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I’m afraid I can relate what you went through. My younger sister died almost 2 years ago but I really feel she’s with me. We’re still connected. How lovely of your Mum to send you flowers for your Dads birthday too. The baby clothes are gorgeous and brought back memories of the excitement of first being pregnant to me....my daughter was born the same year as you so its quite some time ago! I had 2 home births (in the Netherlands) and they were brilliant, you feel so in control of things when you're in your own home and no pain relief was necessary due to I believe much lower anxiety levels. Good luck with your pregnancy journey I think its great that you are including it after all its a major part of your life right now....looking forward to following you in your future adventures ad a threesome. What a lovely video! Keep being yourself 💖 it’s always very enjoyable to watch and the baby clothes are so adorable. My partner and I just got back from a week in the Lake District and we hiked up from Wastwater towards Haystack but didn’t climb it, instead went towards Scoat Fell and over Pillar back down to Wasdale Head 😁 Red Pike was an option but we decided a slightly different route. Hi Athena I'm so very happy for you and the baby clothes are so lovely. I'm your parents age and I love to follow along with your adventures. I hope to be a nanny one day so it's pretty exciting for me too with the baby coming. I remember my auntie collecting loads of baby clothes for me from charity shops etc. She washed them put them on her line and sent me a photo of them blowing in the wind. I can honestly say that I was so grateful for them as although I had new clothes as well I didn't realise how much I would need them so I used them for everyday (they were babygros) and dressed my son up in the new ones when we went out somewhere nice. Grab as many as you can from charity shops and ask your friends to do the same as they are a godsend. All the best sweetheart. xx

Hi Athena, Congratulations again on your news. Quite right not to buy too many clothes for the same age range because baby will outgrow all of them very quickly. Also, avoid stockpiling items for the future because before you know it baby will be saying, "Mother, I am NOT wearing that!!' Time flies really quickly. Have you decided which super-wide-wheeled off-road baby buggy you are getting yet? And, more importantly, which one of you will be pushing it up the hills??!!
I can imagine the excitement and joy you must get out of buying all these wonderful baby clothes, it must be so hard to resist not buying everything as it's all so cute (especially that bear print babygrow!). I would love to see the other stuff you are buying for baby, I find it all so exciting and interesting to see what you are choosing to buy. How are you finding having no coffee? Pregnancy brings lots of emotions with it. I think it’s very normal to feel more of a connection with loved ones, dead or alive, during that time.

My partner and I just got back from a week in the Lake District and we hiked up from Wastwater towards Haystack but didn’t climb it, instead went towards Scoat Fell and over Pillar back down to Wasdale Head 😁
Red Pike was an option but we decided a slightly different route. Hopefully next time!! Thanks for a wonderful video!

Who needs fancy equipment when a blanket will do just as well 💕 congratulations on your baby news and this video is lovely, I’m currently watching it whiles on my break at work, it’s a well needed escape.
I'm not even sure what fancy equipment exists out there but this works great!
Same I’ve just brought a camera and that’s the only bit of fancy equipment I own apart from my bikes 😂 but I’ve seen some youtubers using the recording mic but blankets are so versatile!

Hi Athena I'm so very happy for you and the baby clothes are so lovely. I'm your parents age and I love to follow along with your adventures. I hope to be a nanny one day so it's pretty exciting for me too with the baby coming. I remember my auntie collecting loads of baby clothes for me from charity shops etc. She washed them put them on her line and sent me a photo of them blowing in the wind. I can honestly say that I was so grateful for them as although I had new clothes as well I didn't realise how much I would need them so I used them for everyday (they were babygros) and dressed my son up in the new ones when we went out somewhere nice. Grab as many as you can from charity shops and ask your friends to do the same as they are a godsend. All the best sweetheart. xx

Congratulations again on your news. Quite right not to buy too many clothes for the same age range because baby will outgrow all of them very quickly. Also, avoid stockpiling items for the future because before you know it baby will be saying, "Mother, I am NOT wearing that!!' Time flies really quickly.
Have you decided which super-wide-wheeled off-road baby buggy you are getting yet? And, more importantly, which one of you will be pushing it up the hills??!!
I can imagine the excitement and joy you must get out of buying all these wonderful baby clothes, it must be so hard to resist not buying everything as it's all so cute (especially that bear print babygrow!). I would love to see the other stuff you are buying for baby, I find it all so exciting and interesting to see what you are choosing to buy. How are you finding having no coffee? I really struggle not to have my morning coffee. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video, I look forward to these every Saturday.
In terms of home birth, I don't know if you have watched Ellen Fisher? She has published at least two of her home births and they may be worth a watch. They are so beautiful and she goes into depth about methods she uses during birth regarding pain. Always worth a look!

How cute are those baby clothes ,I'm a community midwife close e to your r local area and have worked as a midwife in your area so know it well .I was just thinking why not home birth then you mentioned it ,it's wonderful .Kendal used to run a great stork exchange for baby clothes not sure what's happening at the moment but we got great stuff from them .
