Hyperlipidaemia is made up of 02 meaningful words- (1) Hyper means more and (2) Lipidemia means lipid. So hyperlipidaemia is a condition in which there is an increase in lipid level in our body. There are two main lipids- (1) LDL and (2) HDL here low level of HDL and High level of LDL is responsible for it.
