I’m a carp fly fishing finatic and this is by far the coolest acting carp I’ve ever seen. Keep up the sick carp fly fishing videos please!
Hi. I still switch from traditional Carpfishing to every Style in Fly Fishing. I am still searching for a Carp Combo. do you have a suggestion for me? greetz from Germany✌🏼
It’s a never ending battle but it’s great to see some of these big bangers getting taken out of the system
I reckon carp fishing is under-rated. Hopefully people watch this and go chasing a few . Every carp out of the system is good. Getting those big breeder's even better.
Absolutely. I reckon there’s so many people out there that have never tried it but would love it!
Another epic adventure ! Carp was the first species I ever caught on fly but it was nothing like this. How aggressive were those fish ! amazing how their feeding habits change according to the conditions. Cannibals who would have thunk it 👍 😂
Great footage.
Im actually lifting my head up tryin to spot a carp!
High camera angle is epic for this mate👌
Thanks mate!!
So I broke my trusty 5wt carp rod last week. I've always been bad to undergun them.
But I had the itch anyways. I still have my 6'6" fiberglass 5wt from when I was a kid. Moved the reel over and took it out of retirement. Got a solid 13-15lb fish on it this morning. Zero backbone/pulling power. It was an absolute blast.
I can't freaking imagine doing that near wood debris and structure like that.
Dude, that is some phenomenal fishing. All your carp videos are great, but this one is on another level. Thanks for sharing these awesome videos.
Carp and white fish here in Utah really really put Trout to shame when it comes to fighting. Come to think of it, rainbows fight better than brown trout. How did Brown Trout become the "fly fishing trophy fish"?
They're cool and harder to catch than rainbows or cutts, another avid utah carper here too 🤙
Looks like huge fun. More of these vids please!
I'm watching this and imagining our British brethren with jaws on table tops...and we keep them for yabby bait. Heheh. The best carp on fly video I've ever watched. Thanks so much.
That was so cool, just an amazing video to watch. Made even better with the high mounted camera shots. They were monster carp. Your mention of them devouring the baby carp was fascinating. And watching them hit the fly was terrific to watch. You keep catch those big fellas, you will finish up with forearms like Popeye 😂A classy video mate 👍 Cheers 😀
Much appreciated mate, thanks for watching!
Unfortunately these Cannibal Carps got a “hammer smashed face” and ended up in the “tomb of the mutilated” after receiving “fly hook sodo….”
Okay I should stop because this comment is probably very disturbing to anyone who doesn’t get the reference🎸😂
Awesome footage Lubin, it’s rare to find em that fired up but when it happens is pretty hectic. 🎣
Awesome Lubin, some absolute beasts there! Geez I wish the Sydney carp would eat like that!
I didn’t believe I would enjoy watching someone catch a dirty old carp but that was cool. Your not a country kid unless you’ve had a carp burn some good old monofilament line through your fingers. I may just add a fly Rod to my arsenal me thinks, cheers mate.
Great to hear mate! And yep they definitely burn some line that’s for sure!
Incredible fishing Lubin,
A great video
It's scary seeing so many massive riverpigs out there
They look like they have really thrived with the flood
Excellent video- looks like amazing fun and a few less breeders in the water is always good 👍
Cheers mate!
that was almost fun to watch. it brought back some good memories from childhood
That is some crazy carp fishing on a fly very cool to see keep up the great vids mate
This is totally cool .and I want to do fly fishing but in Queensland we have big tarlarpiea. Much like carp a best but fight well .but unlike carp thay tast orsum. LOL
Excellent video Lubin. All time conditions and fish there🙏
I reckon that’s your best carp on fly clip yet. Amazing footage and those eats were the best. You might want a 9wt next time
Thanks mate. I was stoked to get those eats on film!
Carp whacking day I love it!!
Awesome video! I definitely recommend not putting a hand on the rod while you are fighting a fish, that probably is a big reason why you have broken rods in the past. When a rod is under load and the blank is touched above the cork it greatly reduces its strength. Love your videos though tight lines
6:19 I've never seen a carp so aggressive 😳
That was such fun fishing!
나도 한국에서 잉어 플라이 낚시를 하고 있지만
이렇게 공격적인 잉어는 처음 봅니다.
매우 인상적인 영상이네요^^
Awesome video mate! Should try especially having a big carp population in South east Queensland.
I'm on the GC, where would you suggest. ?
I need a few of those flies!
Yabby video please!! Agree with the other comments, the high camera view is sensational.
Yabby video would go pretty well I reckon. Great to hear you enjoyed it mate!
Awesome, could you do a vid and show us how to tie some carp flies? Cheers
Thanks mate. There’s already a carp fly video in the fly tying playlist 👍🏻
Love the high shot. What do you do to dispose of these pests. Their annoying fish but have a heavy fight in them..
Thanks mate. A solid knock on the head sorts them out, and you right they do fight!!
Massive size. Plenty about even down here in the Bridge
What sort of depth are they cruising in. Just wondering if I'll get my boat in.
They certainly have been big!
These were in less than 2 metres but would be high and dry now the river has dropped. There are some good ones cruising the cliffs in the main channel now tho
Do you use a floating line for the carp
Is your leader just regular fishing fluoro leader or is it fly fishing leader?
Just regular fluoro mate 👍🏻
Best way to catch a carp it's with a fly.
By far. Massively under rated style of fishing. Carp were made for the fly rod!
How do you build your leader? Loop to loop?
Straight 15?
Thank you
Just a straight piece of 15lb fluoro about 5 feet long off the fly line to the fly is all you need mate
Can you make a video on the wooly buggers you use?

Which rod is it? And which weight?
That’s a Scott Sector 8wt 9ft
Any chance you have relatives in Waikerie?
whereabouts is this - specifics with the murray river in south australia
This spot is now high and dry as the floodwater has receded
this is truly unique, I can imagine some Europeans would kill for this type of fishing
Totally agree mate!
@@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 do you reckon the carp turn cannibalistic once they reach a certain size? they were all thumpers
What sort of depth you cruising around in?
One to two metres mate
Where is this place?
