Despite some of its visual shortcomings, this has become my go-to lately. It's very pleasant and believable to fly.
I agree that some of the textures seem directly used from the FSX version. The quality of the fire extinguisher makes me laugh!

I agree! I hadn’t really flown it all that much after this video and I was testing something with settings and decided to hop in it. I think they have updated it and I had a blast flying it around. It wasn’t bad to begin with but I had a much easier time landing. Thanks for watching!
Majority of aircraft back in that era had an alternator, just no switch. A failed alternator can actually draw excess current from the battery and a failed voltage regulator would cook your battery and potentially the electrical system. Hence why they started adding isolation switches. The real PA-11 does gain and maintain speed pretty well in any sort of a descent. I feel that it's a little too well in the sim, but nothing crazy. If you have 2 people in the aircraft it carries a lot of momentum. She looks like a great flier, I might have to pick it up in this Black Friday sale!
I need to go back and fly this one some more as I never really got to master getting that speed down on landings unless you really slip for a while.

Yes you can, I didn't think you could at first but there is a little hidden button on the dash. Top left will turn on pilot and passenger.
Where did you buy this? I’m searching and I can only find it for FSX/P3D. The Flight Replicas website shows only the L-4. Thanks.
Why do you find Mt. Rushmore to be "bizarre"?
Because we took a mountain and carved giant heads into it. It’s pretty bizarre if you think about it.
