    That steel line looks like it will keep being a problem. Rusty and worn thin. Costly to replace it all but less headaches in the end.

    Any chance of salvaging a hole off of another piece of equipment that isn’t being used? Like the round baler or old manure spreader?

      Yes I could have probably done that. Actually I just ended up cutting off a small piece of that metal line & mating it to a new hydraulic hose. I will show what I did in the video I made on Sunday.

    Man that stinks. A new hose might be better in the end, but that will probably mean wait till monday. Does a hardware store have a coupler that will work. Hope thing turn for the better.

      Yeah that hydraulic line was a stubborn son of gun! I never did try the hardware store but it seems like lately they have not had much anything in the local store.

      @@organicpaulguy Been there, done that, eventually cut the fittings off and got larger diameter pipe, slip the old pipe inside the new pipe and weld it up. still working. 3 hours removal, 30 minute fix, 3 hours to re-install. life on the ranch! lol

      Yes we do have some Jd equipment. 6 John Deere tractors & a Jd disk chisel.
