I love this movie. This is one of my favorite parts of the film. Can you repost with the beginning of the clip where the interviewer asks specifically about Tom's lyrics and Trey says that Tom is a genious and here's an example of why.
Exactly what I am remembering, and wishing was included in this clip. The reason why is because the song credits say: Anastasio/Marshall, but we hear in Trey's words that Tom is the writer. I imagine Trey is the composer.
*same.. and was this specimens of beauty? I can hardly remember, but most certainly this part of the film really should have included the question about, and his answer. Very warm part of the movie.
Man that thing is alot louder acoustic then I thought! No wonder he has so much gain to play with!! Oh hang on I just saw him turn down the volume knob at the end so unless its an instinctual action, Im guessing the languedoc was plugged in!
amen man, phish has helped me in so many ways, some ppl say phish is a drug band, phish helped me get OFF drugs, they get me high naturally

My best Phish show by far was the first time I saw them completely sober.
I get drunk at Phish but don't do drugs.
They're music is meaningful and transcendent. You don't need drugs to get lost in it.

What a nice tune
This song is so tender. I like the quiet ones like "The Horse," and the quick ones like "Manteca."
