President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. hosts a state luncheon in honor of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacañan Palace on April 22, 2024.
Prior to the event, the two leaders engaged in a bilateral meeting and witnessed the exchange of signed agreements between the Philippines and Qatar. These activities aimed to foster greater commitment arising from a shared sense of responsibility as regional and global leaders.
The state luncheon concludes the historic State Visit to the Philippines of His Highness the Amir, the first by a sitting Amir since 2012.
