Wouldn't mind Aries being a secret bad guy, but her realisation of the nature of humans should have been the ending for the people. DC is too much in a hurry. They could have weasled 3 glorious wonder women movies out of this, with her being involved in ww1 and when Aries isn't satisfied he uses Hitler as his prime vessel to start ww2, feeding him with lies and such. He could have been also the manipulative shape-shifter guy who entices the world to fight for his amusement and whatever else he had going on for it. That mustache dude could also have been one of his manipulative victims. They could have also added a joke about Hitler becoming a Eh. Probably just the history buff in me over thinking it. It, Shazam and Aqua Man were leaps ahead of the other films thry released until then (sad to admit as a huge Batman fan)
The first two acts of Wonder Woman were good, but the Ares reveal and final battle were pretty terrible. It went full Fant4stic, and you never go full Fant4stic.

I thought the movie was set around WW-I because they showed the flag of Ottoman Empire. This was dissolved some 15-16 years before the start of WW-II. And yeah, the ending of the movie was a bit disappointing.

WW is a really good movie. A fllawed movie but still really good and hugely enjoyable. I think the Honest Trailer got it pretty much spot on.

You know something that infuriates me is that I had no problems with the film like story wise it's not new but I honestly loved it and it got me to the finale where I said that this might be one of my favorite superhero films of all time ...until the finale work it is a fatal flaw it doesn't ruin the whole movie but my god did I hate it with the clichéd not clever villain switcheroo and how awful and laughable Aries was and yet I really like the actor who plays him

They could do with Chris Pine what the TV series did with Lyle Waggoner. Put Chris Pine in the Modern Era as either a relative of Steve or just a character who happens to look like Steve.

Snehil Shrey he wasn't trash , especially not in Man Of Steel , but he wasn't given anything to work on in BVS , Man Of Steel IMO is still one of the most unique take on a character since Nolan did on Batman , and even the critics who has bashed the film praised the action sequences in that film , Zack Snyder might suck in devicing a story , but he is quiet untouchable when it comes to Superhero action.

I don't watch most honest trailers since they make fun of really good movies like Harry potter, Lord of the rings, Fantastic beasts etc . I was curious about what they would say about Wonder Woman and they were wrong . I've only seen or heard of non Disney films being made fun off , do they make fun of Disney films- I highly doubt cos they appear to be fans of overrated Disney/marvel/star wars films .

For many the "confuse WWI with WWII" aspect of the movie is the main criticism (because both wars still have great influence on many people). So I don't think they didn't find anything negative beside the villains.

Okay I was concerned about watching this one, watched a lot of the others and they were all pretty fair even guardians of the galaxy 2, which I quite liked.
But to make fun of wonder woman, who after batman is my next favorite superhero. And this film was really well made, and Gal Godot did an awesome job of bringing Diana to life.
However they were really quite careful, and made it funny while still maintaining it was a great film and Gal Gadot did an a great job. So I'm happy about that, and I have it on DVD and Blue Ray.
Oh and a final thing there was not a SJW, feminist and not the good kind, gender triggered moment. Throughout the whole film, she didn't need to put anyone down to be strong and amazing.
They couldn't pick on it .. cause femanazi .. they are not going to take that risk.. James Cameron got burnt saying bout it
I do like Wonder Woman, but the SJW feminists jokes were overused in my opinion. Yes we get it, you can joke once or twice about women in war being unusual for that timeframe, but you can't expect me to laugh at it 5 times.
Is it just me that I felt the movie was a bit overrated only for the reason that it had a woman as a superhero? I mean this movie had nothing to be inspired in any way. She is a superhero with superhuman abilities, how can I look up to her? I expected a lot from this movie but felt a little disappointed. People are whining about empowerment, I am totally clueless about how could it empower women? Look at the Batman trilogy, men & women alike would agree that the character had some degree of virtuousness to it and not because it was a guy. All being said, it was the 4th best movie amongst the DC movies (after Batman Trilogy), but let's see how Aquaman would turn out be...high expectations.

They made Diana ridiculously, pathologically out of touch with her immediate surroundings and practical knowledge of...everything. It was like she had some kind of debilitating cognitive disorder. She really couldn’t understand that she is an outsider, that she has to blend in with the civilians around her? You’d think a warrior would know when to draw attention to themselves and when not to. She acted like a fucking child. Hated it. No, this movie was disappointing, unevenly acted and pointlessly bombastic. Despite what people say, I found it just as annoyingly pretentious as Snyder’s movies. (And fight sequences across all movies are becoming unwatchable. They are all the same: slow it down, throw someone into a wall, speed it up, throw someone into a wall, add a booj or two, throw someone into a wall, throw another person into a wall, throw the first person into a different wall...) And it doesn’t come close to the quality of other superhero origin movies like Donner’s _Superman_ or Burton’s _Batman._ Was it better than the other DCEU movies? Yes. Is that an achievement? No. The rest are garbage. The universe is failure. The DCEU, too.
Friggin Snyder Vision was very obvious in the action sequences. Patty should loose it in the next one.

Just realized the guy messed up! The original wonder woman story was set in world war 2 but the movie was set in world war 1 so the German audience would be more receptive. They are in the trenches! How could the honest trailer not fact check their videos?

And did you not hear they say the film seems to forget that the Germans weren't the nazis(I.e bad guys) in WWI??
To be honest i felt they where holding back any criticisms because they itself give the hints in the video (James Cameroon). No matter how accurately you show anything, it will cause backlash.
