Their first of many festival gigs this year, Oasis play at Rock Am Ring in Nurburg, Germany. Most of the festival shows in June would feature a shortened setlist in some form, and as such the band barely played 60 minutes. This does help in making these shows an easier due to them not being as long as the shows with Noel (and I think Liam would’ve gotten bored far quicker into this tour). Unfortunately many of these festival performances only exist through TV highlights, and as such only a couple songs are captured. From the songs we have Liam sounds alright here, and all round his attitude has bounced back a bit from Berlin. The band are the usual, but deliver yet another energetic version of Cigarettes & Alcohol (which seems to be the last time Liam really goes for the sheeeines and sheeuns). As part of this concert, the acts also play at Rock Im Park, which Oasis would play in the next few days. Not much to say on this cos of the short run time, but definitely sounds like one of the better Noel-less gigs.

Festival, held on the GP circuit layout of the Nurburgring. The grand prix happened 2 weeks before. Anwyay, great short gig. Thanks for the thumbnail and recording. It's one of the best Liam shots i haven't seen before.

I was there, as well as their gig in Leipzig a week before. In Leipzig people were still as crazy as if Noel were there. That one in Rock am Ring, as long as I remembered not everyone in the crowd was interested because they were there for Pearl Jam who came after and headlined the day. For me those were my first two gigs of Oasis, I know Noel is replaceable, but those two gigs meant a lot for me. Thanks for uploading ✊🏽

Noel didn’t play on the tour at this time. He only played shows in the U.K and Ireland (such as Wembley).

Also Murrayfield he came back as you said for the uk shows only & missed most of the European leg of the tour during late spring early summer but was back in July for the huge shows at Wembley & Murrayfield amongst other huge stadium shows. 👍✌️👍
