You would've thought they would've done Lethal Weapon when it was WB's 100th anniversary.
They were planning over 300 releases for WB's 100th Anniversary. Sadly, due to financial problems, only around 27 of those titles got released.
Donner isn't actually around to supervise it, wonder who could be trusted.
EYES WIDE SHUT, Lethal Weapon, Nightmare on Elm Street. Of course we want these movies. Come on

Ya, Dirty Harry did receive an acknowledgment about 3 or 4 months ago along with Cuckoo’s Nest and Caddyshack
Why isn't "GONE WITH THE WIND" and "KING KONG" 1933 on this list? They are 2 of the most classic films of all time that have had prior blu-ray releases.
Where in the heck is Gone With The Wind 4K, at WB? It is 85th anniversary this year. It is one of my favorite movie of all time and I want in Dolby Vision. What the hell is taking so damn long?
They took it off Max during 2020, it's also been edited multiple times. I doubt we'll ever get a 4K copy of it.
Could be a while, if ever. Got that 75th Anniversary HD Blu-ray edition myself at this point.

Absolutely agree with you on Lethal Weapon. It is ICONIC. How could it take this long to put out on 4K?? It should have been one of WB's 100 Yr editions.
If I had to pick only one from that list, it would be a Constantine 4K Steelbook.

Absolutely. It’s by and large a visual masterpiece whose colours pop so much it would be a fantastic showcase for a good 4K set, as long as WB doesn’t drop the ball on the remaster again.

@@ryanbarrett5355 it's new line. When it was in 1995 it was a Turner Company. But then new line was acquired by WB. Even the Blu-ray emits the Turner company logo.
If Lethal Weapon finally comes out in 4K, yes all 4 of them, then I will be fully happy. I’ve debated on this being my last year buying 4K as I have over 1000.
The Wild Bunch. Not sure if that was on the short list but it needs some 4k TLC.
It's interesting that Caddyshack isn't on the list this time. It's rumored Caddyshack is getting a 4K upgrade so maybe its omission from this current list is a sign of good things to come. 🤞

When people ask me what my favorite movie of all time is, I tell complete strangers it is Pulp Fiction, but my family knows it is Speed Racer. Talk about an amazing film that absolutely deserves the 4K treatment. Too bad most people wrote it off back in 2008 and continued to ignore my calls to view it for years.
Speed Racer is a must for the colors and visuals alone!
I enjoy speed racer. It's not as good as the anime. But it's fun.
The atmos track they ultimately won’t do would have been spectacular
Maltese falcon 4k is amazing definitely recommend picking it up if you haven't.

In my mind, these lists are more to gauge what to prioritize. I see all of these happening at one point or another. I don’t think this list/poll will determine whether they come or don’t, but rather how soon they start work on them.
Please God, Elm Street in 4K is what the world needs.

Just saw an upscaled version yesterday on my projector and looked amazing in 4K upscaled from a blu ray

Back in the laserdisc days, Criterion did issue a release of Boogie Nights with a decent amount of extras. If they did it again on 4k I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, provided all the extras were included.

Most of the titles on that 'list' you won't have to vote on, they will just come out It's just to generate hype, they also add titles they are iffy about sales to the list to see if it sparks any interest
The blade trilogy should have already been out. I know a lot of people don’t like 3 but I do.
WB needs to release The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy complete series Blu-ray.( with movies)
A Warner Brothers film I badly want to see on 4k blu-ray is the Battle of the Bulge, a 1965 ww2 film starring Henry Fonda, Telly Savalas and Charles Bronson! Many people love this film!
@9:35 - Gremlins 2?? How can people not see it is a gem of a movie? One of the best sequels ever. It is pretty much equal to the 1st Gremlins IMO. Grew up with it and not many sequels are as good as the original. Even less are better.

If the Connery Bond collection ever sees the 4K light of day I am buying that day one. There are several on the list I would love to have but another great one I have been waiting for is Lethal Weapon.
I will too even if I know they will be the Lowry transfers with the redone colors, DNR and new audio mixes. It's too much to hope for new scans and original audio. Or them sourcing IB tech prints to get the colors right like fans have.
Yeah, i voted for Warner like 3 times. So, it's been awhile since they had another list.. I think it's fun to vote. But the problem is after some time pass. I 4get all about it. Hopefully, whatever i voted for came out already...
I think the biggest issue is that 4K releases take time because they have to get the original elements, take the time to clean them up and scan them, sometimes they have to wait on directors for approval like in the case of JC where it took 13 years (the finished HD transfers of TRUE LIES and THE ABYSS were done back in 2011 waiting for him to approve). There's a lot of time and effort that goes into this. And so it really surprises me seeing movies like Jaws 3 or other low-interest titles getting remasters and then seeing stuff that is quite popular never get one.
This is for Warner U.S. NOT Warner U.K. that's actually separate as far as their sales go. That's why they always get the great box set and collectors sets and us in the U.S. get all these trash paper sets and not even all the great titles, Seven UK, Blazing Saddles UK, Terminator steelbook UK, I can go on and on and on!!!

Should I be worried the UK Nightmare on Elm Street doesn't mention Theatrical and Uncut versions anywhere? Not on Amazon, HMV or Zavvi. It does on the US version.
Nar the UK release will be the same.
Plus it’s the better release.

I wonder if this is less of an actual survey and more of a savvy way to generate buzz about some things they're working on anyway. These titles seem to be the very definition of leaving money on the table.
A lot of physical media collectors have a bad habit of thinking all movie fans think like them. They don’t. I don’t think collectors appreciate how small of a market 4K sales truly are. It’s a miracle we got some of the titles we have thus far.
While I'm not big on the Conjuring films, I can honestly say that I would love to see all these movies on 4k and I agree with you: how can these be on a survey, they should be automatic. Cuckoo's Nest is a classic, winning the full trifecta of Oscars, Best Picture, Director, Actor and Actress. Only Silence of the Lambs and It Happened One Night accomplished that, along with Cuckoo's Nest. Any David Fincher film should be an automatic, Logan's Run is a cult classic film. As for the Sean Connery films, remember that Connery is considered the favorite Bond by a large percentage of film fans, who don't really like Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton.
However, I would purchase all of these on 4k.
My guess is they're just gauging collector interest level for these to come up with budget/packaging/priority.
I am an A list member and yes we are required to agree to an NDA and it is strictly enforced.
they need to release great movies that havent had even a blu ray release or a movie that was released on blu ray in the early years of blu ray like 2007-2008... number 1 for me is dead presidents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! death sentence directed by james wan with kevin bacon is in my opinion the best revenge film of the past 25 years and its only got a dvd release in the US.

I am really surprised Lethal Weapon hasn't come out on 4K Blu-ray yet. At least the first two, are very popular films. I am hoping they also include the extended cuts of 1, 2 and 3. If Warner Bros isn't going to release it, let Arrow release it.

This just shows how much Warner Bros actually cares about physical media and its future.. Bc come on some on this list should already been released on 4k already.Like lethal weapon 4k box set & nightmare on elm street 7 disk 4k box set. And where is 1996 eraser & 1991 the last boy scout & 1997 contact on 4k. Bc this is obviously Warner Bros has either lost there touch in knowing that physical media is still alive & doing pretty good. Or Warner Bros can care less about the future of physical media. And just want to focus more on streaming and theatercal releaes. And all I can say Warner Bros need to clean house and bring in people that know what there customers want & not rely on someone sitting behind a desk and making dumb decisions base on what they read on line.

Dream Warriors please! Freddy’s Revenge and Dream Warriors are dream of the crop when it comes to sequels for me. I love them all, except for the remake, but those are my two favorites.
Them, Forbidden Planet, Lethal Wrepon, Artificial Intelligence, Logans Run, Eyes Wide Shut, Soylent Green. Plus all of the obvious ones.
I need those The Conjuring movies in 4k with Dolby Atmos. Please and thank you.
My first choice is the Nightmare 7-film collection. My second choice is the Conjuring movies. My third choice is Constantine.
In regard to Warner Brothers, it's been related many times that people who are book smart, don't have common sense! Just like what he said, who doesn't want One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Lethal Weapon, including the sequels? Those movies shouldn't need to be asked, nor put on a list to vote on for them to be released in 4K. To heck with the voting poll, it's silly! Go on and release the movies in 4K.
They should let the people vote on this who are film collectors not like people who are in this Warner -A list

It’s crazy to me that most of these aren’t already just coming to or on 4K already. Just looking through that list I’d be preordering 80% of the titles on sight.
It really does seem like with this list Warner is super hesitant to put out anything, which seems strange considering the really solid output they had for the 100th anniversary. I wonder if those releases just didn’t sell as well as they’d hoped and now they’re reconsidering being a presence in the 4K market.
The one I can't understand is 'One that flew over the cuckoo's nest'. Its 50 years next year (its a no brainier). The amount of Oscars that movie won. There some good news. The terminator franchise was not on the list. Does that mean T2 is coming. What I can't understand is that Little Shop of Horrors and Boogie Nights had pencil in fall releases and Amadeus was a November release.
And Where is: L.A Confidential, The Hangover. The Bodyguard (what a big movie for the time), Three Kings, and The Iron Giant.
Willing to be if they do the Nightmare 7 film collection it's going to be similar to the blu-ray set that came out years ago. No individual cases. Just a clamshell with the discs. They couldn't even roll on the red carpet for the first film and do anything special for that. No way they'll put any effort into the rest of the franchise.
For the Bond films, I wish they'd do what was done with the 4 volume Ultimate Edition dvd sets that came out years back. This time around it would be 5 volumes, 5 films each set with the Bond films mixed and matched throughout. Those dvd's also had much slimmer cases for each film which I wouldn't mind them doing, but this time around use the classic, original poster artwork for each film. Again, very doubt that will happen.
Are they seriously asking me, Tony... if I want Gremlins 2 on 4K.

I waited for years hoping they would have made a 25 film collection on 4k for bond finally a few months back got the bond collection on Blu-ray. And it's only a 24 film collection. Yes nightmare on elm street collection would be amazing my only thought it would sell out before I could buy it

The Elm St Collection is too vague. Would it be another week attempt if they cram 2 films per disc like the Blu Ray set. I'd rather say 7 disc.
I feel like Green Lantern could be a potential Arrow Video Warner release, and i'm ok with that.
The format of the survey was a page where it listed all of these movies and asked you to select the ones you have interest in. You could select as many or as few as you wanted to. Then the second part of the survey had a different format. It took a subset of about 8 - 10 of the movies and you needed to select the one that you were most interested in and the one you were least interested in. You had to complete this exercise about 15 times, each time with a different subset of the movies. So, on some of those pages, some of the second tier movies had an opportunity to get some love. My top 3 movies from this list are Eyes Wide Shut, Se7en, and Gravity. I voted for one of them every time they were included. I reserved most of my negative votes for Them, Forbidden Planet, and Speed Racer when any of them were included.
I'm not a huge horror fan. I never voted for A Nightmare on Elm Street. But I knew a lot of people care about it, so I never voted against it either. I don't remember how I even got into the WB A-List. I almost always just delete the emails without reading them. I actually deleted this email and then went and dug it out of the trash after seeing people on Twitter talk about it. Most of the time, they just want to ask you about the latest WB movie in the theaters or DC-related videogames.

Totally down for the ANMoES complete collection. Hopefully the first film is still being released regardless.
Gravity was supposedly in the works already for YEARS now, so what is going on here? The Blu-ray has Atmos though, and that was the highlight anyway. The 1080p version looks good, and while 4K would help, it mostly takes place in areas that wouldn't really benefit much from a higher resolution, and barely gain anything from HDR.
Why is Se7en on that list when it was supposed to be out this year?
Also, Blade being back on the menu isn't some spoiler or secret. It's been in the news that Reynolds would like to see a certain actor revisit a certain role in their own film again in the future.

I wish I really knew how to get on the list. Because somehow my wife is on this list and she is not nearly into physical media as I am, but somehow she gets these emails and text alerts and you know it's like, how did you get that done? She said she answered some surveys about movies and stuff. One time and all of a sudden, she got in on the actual. A list survey person anyway, she would never vote for the horror movies. She'd be vote for stuff. Like eyes wide shut and you know the freaking Amadeus which is fine. You know, but she would never vote for nightmare. On elm street, she actually voted for you know, all the like you know? Girly stuff and old classics

Idk why every time they do a nightmare on Elm Street set, they don't really include fvj and definitely not the remake. I get people don't like the remake, but it's a part of the franchise it needs to be in the set

Going to the Elm Street Collection, it really should be 8 films as you have 1-6, Wes Craven's New Nightmare and Freddy VS Jason (it is a NL property unless they still have to go through Paramount)
