No one bought the old version? There is a lot of them on carsales for sale used... Oh and during covid not too many people wanted to pay 100k driveaway for a GLC200 LOL (that's what I was quoted from one dealer!)

Nice crisp review Curt, lots of information from a relatively short video.
Eagerly awaiting A200 and A250 reviews, hope that's not too far away.

has anyone been experiencing 48 volt battery suddenly failing or shutting off on these in Australia? It seems like many American-spec GLC have this problem

All new cars these days look way too fussy and over designed. Some restraint in terms of design goes a long way in a car like this.

Thanks for the review. As always, Curt cut straight to the important points in a clear and honest way.
Regarding the GLC, nice interior but too expensive. I’d rather buy a X3

Mercedes are taking buying public in Australia for complete idiots. No air suspension, no 4 wheel steering, no engine choice unlike overseas. No third zone temp control. Pricing increase is very high. Quality also doubtful given the number of recalls in Australia on M products. None of this will matter as MB buyers don’t cross shop and will pay regardless of quality.

Stupid money for a vehicle that looks like it's been designed by an intern.

Ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. Not saying it's a bad car but Merc is jacking up the prices like they've lost their minds. You would either be filthy rich or dumb to buy this over the X3 or GV70

@bens6674 your point is only valid if their vehicles are actually desirable and build quality and specs are exceptional. The problem is that the recent Merc vehicles don't tick any of these boxes. The interior looks fancy - yes, but if you actually touch them, they are just gloss black, plasticky and the constant rattles are very, very common. Driving capability is far behind the counterparts from the BMW, theexterior design is now just lazy and identical across all ranges. And with their newest EV designs along with their latest AMG line-up adopting 4 cyl engines, I just think they are begging the customers to buy their subpar vehicles just for the badge.

@HaruHaruman Man stop the long talk. Mercedes always provide quality and you have no right to say anyone who buys them is dumb as the customers know what they get.
