Willem Novak was enjoying his much warranted time off, when he is called back to LAPD Headquarters for a case.

Novak does NOT kid around! Didn't expect him to bring the pain like that!
After reading his character profile for the File, trying to bring out his general “distrust” of Replicants! And got real lucky on that last roll for his ranged shot. Really liking the way extra 👁️ being out more damage during a critical hit. Enjoying this Year Zero engine! Thanks for watching and commenting!

How do you play the scenarios without spoiling them for yourself? Like with reading ahead I mean 🙂
What I have found so far in how the Case File (01 in this case) is set up, is that when you get to a scene or location to be played out it’s set in order of how you’d as a player find things out. The information presented gives you a roll usually to either find a piece of evidence or gather information from a NPC, and so on. I roll accordingly and either get the info and note it down, or not and basically even though I know as the player the Info I have to roleplay that the character doesn’t. So far that has worked. Has been a couple hiccups however where when you’re reading a NPC background you uncover something that you’ll know you will find out (maybe) later, so I try and stop right away to keep that hidden.
What I will do if I have found something out before it is to be found due to reading ahead, I’ll use a “yes/no” question and use either the telling table from Strider Mode for the One Ring or make something using the Blade Runner dice… “does my character spot this evidence”… “no”… okay my character doesn’t find this.
I’ll be doing a video about how I’ve done this and what worked and not work once I’m done!
