The Bette Midler version is sooooooooo different WOAH!
The Divine Miss M ... always a different spin.
btw: "Hi Ren"
@@f.n.schlub2269 Devine Midler? eeek!
Tim looks so tall, dark, and dangerous in this outfit. Which always makes me smile because he is such a sweetie. Vocally, this is outstanding. There is so much going on in the background vocally but it's their harmonies that make it pure ear candy.
I was just thinking, "They made marshmallow Tim look like he got a bit too close to the fire!" That's as dangerous as they could manage with him!
@@TeahVickery lol I like that explanation so much!
Austin doing Clint Eastwoodâs, âThe Good, The Bad & The Uglyâ! In Austinâs case, he makes it, âThe Good, The Bad & The BEAUTIFULâ!!! â€ïž
Tim in that all black I CANNOT EVEN either! Just heart stopping for me since Tim has that effect on me in any circumstance. They all did look SO GOOD in the western clothes. And the singing was fantastic as usual. Seems almost unfair to them that we always expect excellence and we always get it. Brooke was great here too. Good to see that big old smile on your face Travis. I know you've been really busy. But I miss you when you're not around.
I love this! She sounds like she could be in the group with the boys. Home Free never disappoints. Great reaction, Travis â€
Brook Eden's voice sounds like a mix of Tanya Tucker and Stevie Nicks. Amazing cover. So glad that when Home Free does do country music covers, it's real country music, not the current pop "country".
I loooooooove this style.
Several people have covered this song but these guys and Brooke gave it new life.
They did this on their December tour with Brooke. My hubby is a fan of older country -- anything 1980s and later he just doesn't know -- so a lot of the stuff HF covers isn't really his stuff, but when they did this at the concert we went to, he *loved* it.
This is a killer video. Brooke Eden is perfect for this song. These guys never disappoint.â€ïžâ€ïž
Factsss
Lol..Austin looks like Clint Eastwood..Tim looks like Wyatt EarpâŠand Adam reminds me of Billy the Kidđ€Šââïžđ€Šââïžâșïž..nothing like some Home Free goodness to put a smile on your face and fill your heart with joyâșïžâ€ïžâŒïž
Sooooo good. The looks are đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
Adam's 'bout to go rob the stagecoach.
Chance and austin also dropped new songs today as well as the group video. They killed this video.
YES â€ïžâŒïžđ„đ„đ„âŠ.this IS FIRE âŠ.. How hot are these guysâŠ.love the setâŠ&, the singing is just TOOOO GOOOOD đ„âŒïžđ„â€ïž
đ„
That was fantastic. Her voice blends so well and sounds very Tanya Tucker-esque
Agreed !!!
I grew up with the Helen Reddy version, never knew the incomparable Tanya Tucker version.
Anyhooooo....so glad Home Free and Brooke Eden took us around one more time with their version and I'm out of my mind thrilled and filled with joy. God bless us all!
I love it when they go old school! Iâve always found this song a bit repetitive, especially with all the repetition of the chorus at the end. But they definitely solved that problem with this cover! Every time they sang that chorus, it was different, with different layers, different parts in focus, and different phrasing. Like they tried it a ton of different ways and couldnât choose (because it all sounded so goodđ) so they just decided to do it all the ways!
Love this!! Go HF!! Coolest dudes on the planet!!
So happy to see you jumping back in with Home Free! Love this video! Everyone went off at the end! Tim was killing it! đ
Love Your Reaction, Home Free and Brooke Sound Great Together â€
Welcome to the PNW, Travis. Tim went full Texan on that look. This was great, I am so happy they did it.
OMG! PERFECT!!! Sad history behind this song, involving suicide and redemption, but they all sang the crap out of this!!!
Vocals were đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
This is super.
Sorry to say but I like this better than the original.
Great sung, incredible bass, unbelievable beatboxing/vocal sounds, amazing harmonies. Each has just the right role in the song.
And then the video!!! Wow. They all look perfectđ„°đ. Images from earlier Western movies that I watched a lot came back!
Yes, another successful cover!!
â€â€â€â€â€â€
Home Free and Brooke Eden are awesome!đ
Oh YES, so much better than the original. So many layers upon layers, just makes it excellent.
AWESOME! I do believe Austin was channeling Clint Eastwood's character on either Hang em high or Good the Bad and the Ugly! They never disappoint..
He's definitely channeling Clint and Tim, looks like he stepped out of shooting Tombstone with Kilmer & Russell. Lol. Great song. Brooke was perfect for this.
@@marylee7467 I was trying to figure out who Tim reminded me of in the old spaghetti westerns.. Thanks
@@deborahgrimmer1673 my pleasure. And don't he look good in black. đ„°
@@marylee7467 He sure did!
Love the setting, and wow did they pull that song off with extraordinary class and excellence!!! Another fun collaboration!! âŁ
Tim really blows out the bass while they all look the part so well! Adam is really exceptional as always!!
As someone who listened to top 40 radio in the â70s as a kid, I wasnât familiar with Tanya Tuckerâs version, but instead knew Helen Reddyâs chart-topping cover. I later discovered Bette Midlerâs earlier version and fell for that one as well. I donât know if Iâve ever heard Ms. Tuckerâs version yet.
Iâll have to check out the others ! Tanyaâs was the only one Iâve ever known!
Tanya Tucker was only 13 years old when she recorded this song in 1972. This started her career.
I agree...this was đ„ đ„! Brooke was perfect for this...the harmonies...the outfits...just perfection! I loved when Adam cut out and just snapped his fingers...then Tim kicked in til Adam came back...and of course Austin with the sky high ending!
Nice to see you back! Great song. Bette Midler did it first in 1971 but I remember Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy's versions. The guys did a really nice job backing up Brooke Eden on this song. They never take away from a guest vocalist. And how cool did they all look dressed in the western theme. Reminded me of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western movies I used to watch.
Oh I didnt know about Bette's version!
This was filmed at Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction, Arizona, just down the road from me. The mountains in the background are the famous Superstition Mountains where the Lost Dutchman mine is supposed to be located. They did a wonderful job with this song!
I love this! I didn't know Brooke, but I love her voice! And it's great seeing you react to HF again. â€
That was awesome!!! Brooke Eden has an amazing voice. And of course Home Free is amazing all around!!! Travis your standing reaction was super great!!! Loved to see you get into it!!!
Absolutely amazing, yet again. Love the guys looking like slightly shady old west gamblers. Glad to see you back.
Super-duper reaction, as usual!!! Everything about this video is gorgeous.
đđŒ
The guys did it again. They cannot miss. I love this!
This is so very awesome! But what would you expect. Home Free and Brooke Edenn together is fire! Love your reaction!
I'm so old that I remember the Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy version of this - and needless to say Home Free and Brooke Eden just kill it. I love the setting, singing, harmony, beatboxing - all of it. There's also a live version of Delta Dawn with Home Free & Maggie Baugh that's really good too!
I wouldn't say older country was my thing, but when Home Free puts their spin on it it's not only an upgrade but a new classic and favourite. Those harmonies and the layering! Wow!
Love your HF reactions, they always put a smile on my face, and your reactions do too! Home Free never disappoints!
Great reaction! I LOVE the excitement you show right from the beginning. Amazing job by the guys and her voice is about as perfect a country music voice as I've ever heard. I can't believe she's not more well-known!
Timmy's wearing a Billy Jack hat! â€â€â€
Billy Jack!!!!!
đđđđđ
Let's buckle up!!!
I MISSED YOU!! đ Great song, great rendition, great costumes. Love Tim's Charles Bronson look....Austin's Eastwood vibe....and Adam's long locks!! Brooke has a great voice....very Tanya-ish. All-in-all, a great release.
I loved this too. My goodness, the boys look good as cowboys. Austin looks like Clint Eastwood and Tim looks like he belongs in the movie Tombstone. Loved Timâs lows and Austinâs highs. Brooke was great. Good reaction TravisâŠ..I could see you in this too with cowboy garb. đ
Typical Home Free knocking it out of the park
Another GREAT ONE!!!!!!!
I grew up listening to this song too! My Grandpa would always sing it to my little sister Dawn â€
Someone that knows "Tanya Tucker", exciting!
I appreciate You....
If there was anyone in Country Music today qualified to take over "The Man In Black Status" from Johnny Cash It is Hands down Tim Foust. No doubts about it.
Travis, I love your enthusiasm for life and art. Your enjoyment of the music (and the showmanship!) is so vibrant it doubles up our own experience.
Thank you ! đ
Tim's crazy low notes riding underneath it all is absolute fire. Jeeze I love this. â€ïžđ„â€ïž
So good to see your face and wonderful reactions again! Your enthusiasm is infectious. I loved it too and the boys and Brooke all looked fabulous. â€
Darnit! I came into the end of the premier. That was so much fun Travis! Austin showin' off at the end. I'm not a huge fan of this song mainly because I got burnt out on it back in the day, but they did their thang. Great rendition with Brooke. đ
I love this song, showing my age itâs from my childhood! They did such a great job with songâ€! Thank you Travis! Time for some new Dimash â€đ, please? Together is awesome, composed by his younger brother, who is 16, definitely more of a pop song.
Love your reaction to this as well as all of your other reactions,, especially to Home Free. Pray continue.
Home free are AMAZING!!!! Defo my fave band! and this song my grandad use to sing to me when i was little so brings back alot of special times
I've never heard of Brooke Eden but loved her voice. She sounded like she had a bit of Lorrie Morgan in her voice.
I just went back to the 1973 version of Tanya Tucker (at age 13) singing this on Hee Haw. They definitely put their own spin on it but I like the way they kept it very much like the original and Brooke sounds amazingly like Tanya.
I almost thought you were going to fall out of your chair when Austin belted out those last few notes at the end! lol Glad you didnât! These guys always give it their all! Thinking of all the music artists they introduced us to through their music over the last decade either in a collaboration or just recording a cover song. Love these guys very much!
love this cover, such an awesome classic country song! The outfits are awesome as well, with all the western looks. Although Rob looks like he just said ok put a hat on me lol....he needed a duster on or something
I love seeing your reactions and your dancingđ they all looked really good and love their take on it. Brooke and Austin sounded amazing as well as Tim with his killer bass and the backup vocals took it to next level. Adam R with his one man band is perfection. You need to react to their new trilogy Give Me a Sign and Austin has a new cover song with Makena called Never HadADream Come True.
Austin is wearing the same outfit as Clint Eastwood in one of his spaghetti westerns.
Austin really gives off a Clint Eastwood vibe with that poncho.
Great reaction!! This is pure classic country perfection they all sounded so awesome together.
That outfit that Austin was wearing was worn by Clint Eastwood in some of his western movies like ForA Few Dollars More released in 1967
Love Tanya tucker saw her twice in concert you got every Pennieâs worth and then some
They filmed this in Apache Junction, AZ while they were here for their concert in Mesa that I went toâ€
They did a fantastic version of this song. Brooke was actually on tour with them a little while ago, and they sang this song on stage. Always truly enjoy watching your reaction to this song. Have you done Mississippi Squirrel Revival?
Oops not Val Kilmer - it was Clint Eastwood and forgot movie with the poncho. No matter - fab song - loved this whole thing!
Home Free đ„â€ïžđ
Hey Travis! Missed your reactions. Hope you are well. Hugs to you.
Now we know why Adam left his hair long! Awesome job! They all look great!
Welcome back the fries missed you!! Great song loved the reaction â€
Glad to see you back, hope the move went well.đ
Missed your reactions , glade your getting settled into your new home. Love you like a brother .
Great reaction Travis!!
I was around when that song came out originally. Very good job they all did.đđŸđđŸđđŸ
Best version I ever heard.
I love your reactions always! This a great cover and Brooke Eden was amazing!
A while back you said that you were going to take some time off to take care of yourself. You really look fantastic, you look very healthy and good, you did a good job keep it up..
Yessir - they SLAYED this one!
Glad you are getting settled in to the new place, Austin in the poncho makes me think of Clint Eastwood. Great reaction!
I was thinking about you last night. Missed you. Great reaction.
đđđ Iâm still here !
I first heard Delta Dawn when I was 12, so in 1973, by Helen Reddy. At the time, I thought she was the original singer because she was for me and the internet wasn't a thing. I just looked it up, and Bette Midler was the first one to record it!
They sang this with her in Royal Oak Michigan â€đ
I was there !
THANKS TRAVIS! CHEERS!!
The ending was awesome
I missed you so much! â€ïž Thank you for such a fun reaction!
Great to have you back, Travis!
That scene you were talking about their outfits reminds me of the movie Tombstone
I love this song too. The original was done by Helen Reddie. Peace
Tanya Tucker sang this so well.. â€
Your reaction is priceless!đ
I would love to see your reaction to Voiceplayâs new one, Valhalla Calling. Your reactions make me smile and laugh.
Missed you man. Glad you are back.
