It shouldn't be the same. Home Free will continue to grow. They brought in Chance after Chris left. It has been amazing for Home Free and absolutely phenomenal for Chris Rupp. Foll9w him if you haven't been.
Austin is going to experience a whole new success and so is HF. Everyone wins, especially the fans.
It will still be Home Free and I will still be listening to them.

I am happy for you. The love of family sustains me and I hope it will do so for you. I must say, though, that I only discovered Home Free a few weeks ago. I found you to be the most interesting singer of a band full of amazing singers. The day after I saw you guys I went online and bought tickets for your upcoming tour for St Louis. I live in St. Paul, so it's quite a way away. I think I will be very disappointed if you are not there. Don't get me wrong, the other guys are amazing, but I would like to hear you on April 28th in St. Louis. Have a happy life!

Yeah, I mean the last 24 hours were super tough for the fans and I get where people start thinking things, but to say it on social media is hurtful and people need to be better.
@@TheHauntedMansionGhost So... are you saying that Austin isn't "allowed" to seek the happiness he wants in the way he believes he can find it? Something like touring and missing your family or deciding to stay at home is a *very* personal decision, that each family can only make for themselves. It doesn't mean Adam and Rob did it the "wrong" way, or that Austin is doing it the "wrong" way. Yes, we'll miss him, but he has to and should do what he believes is best for him and his family, in the long run. He's given 12 years to the band, and I'm immensely grateful for them. Try to be kinder.

Thank you for your kind words and expressing your understanding of your fans feelings. I discovered Home Free a little over 8 years ago, right before Adam Chance joined, I think in 2015-16? I fell in love with the group and have enjoyed some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard whether it be from Home Free or from the individual members. Home Free has been and will continue to be my favorite group but every one of you are so talented and so great on your own and will forever be my "go to" musical entertainment. And a note to you Amberly, I just can't imagine Austin without you. You have brought so much to him and to us and I hope life is as beautiful and fulfilling for you as you have been for others. God Bless you both and may all your dreams be realized and fulfilled.

My younger brother is a professional musician. Over 40 years ago he was offered a position with a nationally known rock band. He told me that he could either go on the road and have that life or he could stay at home a raise his two daughters. He chose his family. Now his daughters have their own families with wonderful children.

I so understand your reasons for leaving Home Free. I looked at HF tour schedule for Fall through December and wondered how in the world y’all kept up that pace with practically no down time, even during Christmas. I wish for you and Amberly, children and lots of home-time. Your fans will always support and love you, Austin, you are so special. May God’s sweetest blessings rain down on you and Amberly.

You and the group of guys are by far the best best Accapella group l have ever heard! When l have a bad day ,HOMEFREE is the group l use too look for solace. I came across your music some 9 or 10 yrs ago, l will never stop listening too. I myself sang in a Accapella group, never to the quality of sound Homefree has ,but, l tried for 7 or 8 years. Asthma has taken over my lungs since childhood! It is what it is, l wish you the best, love the fun you and Amber have with the music. Go ahead and enjoy your life experience with your wife. I only just discovered Home Free in the last 3 weeks… a few days after my husband died. Truly, the group saved me from losing my mind in the early days. I have an admiration for the group as performers and as people. Part of why I love these men, is that they have a true love of not only music, but of their families, and both of these loves shine through.

When I first discovered Home Free I had not been so excited about a group since I heard the Beatles back in 1963. You touched my soul with your angel voices and harmonies. Home Free was with me as I took care of my aging father and then my mother. Just listening to a Home Free song brought peace to my heart and mind. I was blessed to see Home Free in concert. I listen to Home Free almost every day. I was so sad when I read you are leaving. But thank you, Austin and Amberly for sharing this. Family is the greatest blessing we have on Earth. Your strength in making the choice for family is inspiring. Austin, I have loved your voice, your flirting, your humor, your song writing and admired you for all of them. And now, I add to the list, I admire you for your integrity. Wishing blessings and joy and love and peace in all the exciting possibilities that are before you. Love to you both forever.

I remember you saying in an interview that for several years, you really didn't have a home. When you weren't traveling, you couch surfed because you felt an apartment was silly when you weren't there. It makes complete sense that getting a taste of being home during lockdown made you hungry for more. And during that time, I noticed you seemed completely happy being home. So Godspeed Austin. You have worked hard for too many years to not take time for yourself to enjoy a "normal" life. Hang out with friends, bug the crap out of Amberlee😊, mow as much as you want and enjoy the fruits of your labors. You deserve it. Much love.

As a woman who is 69, married to a guy who was a 911 dispatcher for 24 years working 12 hour shifts including most holidays and weekends, while working a second job which he then worked full time after retiring and still works at the age of 72, I thank you for your wife. Your recognizing that you need to spend time with your wife, your friends, your future family and kids, is a mature and meaningful way to show your love and respect for her. I have always felt like I’ve been waiting for my husband, for over 35 years just waiting, and I know I’ll be waiting forever. Thank you for not making your wife wait.

Austin, the blend (both music and personality) that Home Free created (and you are a major chunk of that) was truly unique. There is absolutely nothing else out there quite the same. We fans will *always* be thankful for what you guys did collectively and what you personally added to that mix. Especially during the pandemic--you guys helped a lot of us just get through that time. It's fitting (in a philosophical way) that you started your own reflection because of that. Because of that, selfishly we're all going to regret you leaving the group. At the same time, in no small part because of all that you and Home Free have given us, we celebrate your next steps and are so happy for you. Any negative you hear is just us selfish fans missing a favorite flavor/theme/part in our lives in the future.
The group won't be the same without you. We'll miss your AMAZING voice, vocal runs, scrunchy nose, catchy smile, flirting with the camera, etc.--all the things that were Austin and that Austin added into the Home Free mix. At the same time, we should look forward to Home Free's next incarnation, future work you do with them, future work you do by yourself and with unknown others down the road. And MOST importantly, YOU get to look forward to stuff that is none of our business. :) When you become a celebrity, you lose a little of your privacy and independence to those who hang on what you do, but we also need to give you your space and your life. Personally, I think Home Free fans are a cut above, and I think they will honor and respect you. Don't let the few nay-sayers give you any pause. You're better than that, and so are 99% plus of Home Free's fans.
