To me it sounds like it's doing more than just reverb. Different parts of the audio spectrum are moving across the stereo field as you introduce the effect, which coupled with the reverb (and what sounds in some cases like a short one-shot delay) really gives it a wide sound. Impressive.

This pedal makes the synthesiser sound very cool and unique, especially the sound illusion of the EH Super Ego Synth Engine at 7:34 to 7:42 🤖
