Waffle House closing must be the equivalent of a Midwesterner actually GOING to the basement for a tornado. And STAYING there until it’s done.
Pretty much. Yeah.
@@Duane_Grabert Except the basement is probably safer.
@@itwasagoodideaatthetime7980 we know, we dont care
its more like the sign that causes that response. seeing waffle house closed is like a Midwesterner seeing his neighbors house barn and 4 cows casually fly by. it is an instant eye opener of the severity of the situation in which you have found yourself.
I didn't know this was a stereotype for us... lol
Dang, Waffle House closing is such a Red Flag that FLORIDA is putting a pause on his chaotic shenanigans to take things seriously
That is truly scary.
This could very well be why he doesn't take most things seriously. When you get smashed into oblivion once every two or three years by a hurricane, everything else must seem like small potatoes.
yeah true and can confirm they dont answer if you call few i seen answer to hang up due to instore to busy
Florida taking things seriously?! WHAT WORLD AM I LIVING IN?!?!
FEMA literally uses Waffle House closures as an index for the most affected areas during natural disasters. It's that serious.
Florida during a hurricane: It's just a light drizzle
Florida hearing Waffle House closed because of a hurricane: *CODE BLUE, CODE RED, CODE WHATEVER COLOR IT IS RUN!!!!!*
Code Brown!
Code "read white and blue"?
As a Floridian, the second I heard there was a hurricane heading towards Florida I made theme park reservations for that Thursday and Friday. Thursday they were close and Friday magic kingdom was dead and we rode space mountain twice in 25 minutes
Code waffle
*Insert Aladdin & The King of Thief's "CODE RED!" Scene here*
Both Disney and Waffle House…… may God have mercy on Florida’s soul 😇
Not to mention most Publix’s closed too 😭
Bold of you to assume Florida has a soul
Yep that’s a pretty accurate summary of how I took the progression of news:
There’s a hurricane headed for Florida: Ok.
They closed Disney: people are evacuating, right?
They closed Publix: Madre de Dios…
They closed Waffle House: well, looks like we’re looking for a new 50th state. Wonder if Puerto Rico or DC is still interested…
@@ArtiicXD For Florida... Publix normally closes. But Waffle House is 24/7.... so if it closes that is something to note. Or if you see Jim Cantore in or near your city. I mean there is a tracking website for him too. Not sure if it's still up but that was a thing for several years. If he came to your city the storm is heading that way... if Waffle House is closed then it's gonna be bad.
@@rubiconprime1429 We do... it's just black 🖤 heh 😅 Nah, some of us still do. Otherwise DeSantis wouldn't have made that blunder with Martha's Vineyard. Crist is leading. He needed a jump.
"Boy, run!"
🤣🤣🤣
These are always so good. And so accurate.
As someone who worked at Waffle House. You know it’s a bad storm if it’s closed (we are expected to come to work during flooding/hurricanes) and no one will ever answer the phone under any circumstances lol.
Lol I've actually witnessed phone answering! I do live in small town Tennessee though. Lol
Is that still policy? I know the government named the disaster scale after them because of that policy, but you would hope that after the government named a disaster scale after you business from how GREEDY it is, you'd make a few adjustments.
@@majinjason that's not how hypercapitalism works. That's just free advertisement.
Why do the Waffle House restaurants even have publicly listed phone numbers then?
@@SurprisinglyDeep I’m exaggerating. We do answer the phone but only about 1/10 times. It’s because we are busy and usually people who order over the phone never come to pick it up/go to the wrong Waffle House (even if we specify which one we are) so it ends up being a waste of time and money. And if we answered to tell them to come inside to order they would throw a fit. So not answering was just easier.
Idk if you knew this but servers take the order, call the order, clean the entire restaurant inside an out. From ceiling lights, dishes, salt and pepper shakers, the parking lot, the floors, the bathroom, wipe down the stainless steal, refill and clean syrup, and much much much more. So we usually are genuinely busy. Especially in the morning. At the time
I used to try to answer the phone but could never get to it in time.
When the waffle house closes you know things are serious.
It closed and it did
As a Floridian, I can verify that this is actually very true
I take that Disney closing is like New England schools closing for a Snow storm and that waffle house closing is like the governor closing the highways for a winter storm
@@mr.factoid105 i dont knwo but sure
Almost as serious as when they clean the entire place and stop the cook from smoking at the griddle?
I love that the waffle house index is a thing people use to check how bad a storm is
Because its part of the National Disaster Relief. The government literally uses it to help pinpoint what locations need help the most
I don't work for Waffel house, but my company's policy is to show up no matter what. We've got plans the next time there is a power outage, gonna bring a little burner and marshmallows, cause they ain't gonna call it and send us home.
As a Louisiana native, I can 1000% confirm this is a thing.
As I new yorker I’ll say “good system”
As a Belgian native I'll say
Why the waffles?
Same
I'm in SC and YEA it's a thing here too they don't even close when there is snow here (it's rare but we get it and stuff shuts down if we do
@@Ijustwantbread waffle house index is a thing. If a storm is so bad waffle house will close they are the ride or die restaurant. It's actually really a thing. Also hurricane partys pre and post storms will probably be the best meals of your life
It’s nice Loui stepped in with the joke😂
Its what we do
Loui is the more resonable one between him and Florida mostly cause he is just a nice guy
If longer skits become the norm I will be LOVING IT
The Waffle House Index! I remember reading about this!
So for anyone not in the south, or interested in the science, this is basically a type of microeconomic trend that can be used for purposes other than, you know, economic stuff.
A lot of it is talked about in stuff like Freakonomics. For example, if you look at these tiny trends, it is possible to find terrorists just by using bank information, like one numbers guy decided to work on in the UK, or figure out that walking home from a bar is just as dangerous as driving drunk (since drunk pedestrians are killed more often than in accidents.)
The Waffle House Index is one of the microeconomic trends that NOAA actually uses to supplement its reporting in cases where they can't get enough feet on the ground. Because Waffle House restaurants are notorious for staying open through hellfire or shitstorm, it's actually possible to figure out where the worst parts of the storm and the damages are going based on the menu at the local restaurants, with best case being "fully open," middle being "reduced offerings" (since these guys actually try to stay open when the gas gets cut or some other service stops; they have steel balls, I swear, they will serve you waffles even if it's the second coming of Christ) and worst being "closed."
Combine this with other trends, such as the Twitter trend, which is a known effect where Twitter use spikes right before hurricane impact, which can be useful for figuring out a proper landfall time, and you have yourself an entire system of "oh shit" meters entirely based on societal objects instead of purely weather instruments.
We have a similar system up north, we measure it off of whether or not there are actually any cars out on the road that aren't cops/ems/firefighters or utility/road vehicles like snowplows.
We can get upwards of 10-ft high snowdrifts on the sides of the road and you can still see plenty of traffic going to/from. When it gets bad is if there's extreme cold/blinding blizzards (regular blizzards aren't too bad, just have to know how to drive in them). The former causes the entire road to become one single ice sheet, and even the best drivers are hopelessly doomed to slip n' slide, AWT and chains be damned. The latter is just simply impossible to drive through after a certain point, as worst cases have you unable to see the front of your own vehicle.
So regular traffic - A-Okay.
Only a few cars - Weather's not good, but tolerable.
Complete vacancy - This is very bad.
I live a few hours from Winnipeg (Canada). In the winter, the Trans-Canada highway closes all the time. Meh. School buses outside of a city on rural routes get cancelled fairly regularly. But if they close the Perimeter Highway, or classes and/or busses inside a city get cancelled - it's gonna be bad or is bad. We had our first in-town snow day in like 25 years last winter. The one previous to that was like 11 or 12 years. Basically twice in my life and I'm 45 lol!
I used to work at waffle house, and they have 3 colors. Green, yellow, and red. Green means the full menu is available. Yellow means it's a limited menu, and red means it's completely closed. The only time you will see a waffle house closed is when it's either being remodeled or a bad storm is coming.
Also used as an early measure by FEMA for the scale of disaster relief needed after the storm. W.H.I. is real.
All I know about Waffle House is that they Fund fascists, so I’ve never gone to one.
I spent Hurricane Irma at WDW as an out of state tourist. We couldn't get a flight out before the storm came as our original departure date was the 10th. To be fair, the parks were relatively quiet the week before the hurricane as well, but stayed pretty empty post the storm. I was simply amazed by how fast Disney got their resort pools reopened.
As a Floridian who evacuate to disney during Irma, it's the only place to go that you know will never lose power. We went to the parks Friday after Ian specifically because we knew there was not going to be any lines
I just want to say that I really do appreciate the bloopers at the end because it serves to remind us that despite the evidence, Ben is human.
I remeber learning about this in a disaster prep class lol, but its very much a real thing.
The Waffle House index?
@@msmaria5039 I wasn’t taught that, but learned as a Floridian that yes, if Disney and Waffle House close, it’s gonna get bad. If Waffle House closes in your town for weather, get yourself out.
@@amykat75 it's a three level index. Green, everything is fine. Yellow, waffle house is still open but on generator and low supply, so that means people need food water and power. Red, waffle house is destroyed and likely other businesses and home, search and rescue needed ASAP among other things.
You'd think after you crap policies and corporate greed get a disaster scale named after them they make a few changes. At least pay the ones who stay double time or something.
@@msmaria5039 yes
@@majinjason yeah but corprate greed aside they also feed the community and first responders for free during natural disaster. As well they have the room to be set up as make shift shelters and medical centers.
My parents and I were in the animal kingdom when it started raining... Best Disney day ever. I don't think I would have liked the animal kingdom nearly as much if that hadn't happened. We went on this safari type deal and the animals all came out because of they rain. We legit watched lions playing with each other and a herd of rhinos or something just chilled around our vehicle. Afterward, there was this ride that was like tubing that was supposed to get you really wet. Well, since we already were so wet, it didn't much matter either way and we went on that thing like three times in a row because there was no line whatsoever.
Louisiana and Florida, having a hurricane list us smart thinking, wish he did that in Australia when winter happens
Oh yeah.
my parents always kept a hurricane pantry during hurricane season, that way if there is a hurricane, you dont have to worry about runs on the grocery store. When hurricane season is over they would use some of the pantry stuffs. And while ive been around cold weather going to college in NYC, i didnt think about 2021 freeze here in houston other than planning on driving on icy roads, since i dont know how. But then i didnt plan on the power going out, and therefore losing heat to my house. I had only 2 duraflame logs for my log burning fireplace, my car had about 1 gallon of gas in it (so i didnt have long to manually open the garage and sit in it and warm up that way), and i had less than 1/2 gallon of gas for the generator (not that it would have helped much since it doesnt hook up to anything that would have produced heat. I had scraps of bass wood for wood working and being a soft wood they burn up super quickly. By the time it was 24 hours without power, my house was around 25 degrees fareheit inside the house (about -5 degrees celcius) (it might have been colder but it was at least colder that the lowest the thermostat would show), the pipes were all frozen i had a mild case of hypothermia going when the power thankfully turned back on. As soon as it was all over, i decided to make sure i keep a case or two of those duraflame logs in my emergency pantry.
As a Floridian, the time to evacuate is when Waffle House closes. Also, I actually laughed out loud when he said why don’t you just call Waffle House. 😂 Why would I cause myself all the extra mental anguish? Does Waffle House even have phones? 😂
Yes, but those are just decoys. ;)
You know, I used to think "Florida Man" was just a meme that gets blown out of proportion because of the state's lack of restraint when it comes to reporting on stuff, but now I'm starting to think that the landmass we know as Florida is just solidified, concentrated chaos where Discord, Q, and Bill Cipher all have timeshares.
I like it when I'm visiting other states and then when they find out I'm from Cali they always give me that face, you know the one. It brings joy to my socially acceptable heart.
That comment about Disney IS true.
When I visited Disney World back in December in 2018 (week before Christmas), on my last full day there before the day of departure, it was storming in the morning, and I was very worried we'd have to skip a day at the park. Eventually, the storms did lessen to a rain shower and my dad and I were able to go to Epcot.
It was raining all day at a light-moderate range, but BOY the park was so empty and vacant compared to arrival day (we did Epcot on the first day there and it was of course packed).
So yeah, if I were to go to Disney World again, AND it was still raining (just not hurricane or HEAVY storm), I'd still go to one of the parks, just not Animal Kingdom or the water parks obviously.
And this is coming from someone who normally doesn't like being in the rain but has kinda gotten used to it while in the Buckeye.*
*Ohio Rain isn't as bad as Pennsylvania rain though. Cause unless it's a full-on storm, the raindrops aren't PELTING you basically (due to volume and/or intensity), sometimes to the point that an actual bathroom shower is actually heavier. It also doesn't help that Ohio rain tends to pass right on by, as mentioned in Ohio's first proper video.
Right, skip the waterparks if it's raining. Wouldn't want to get wet or anything^^
@@michaelkensbock661 Very funny. But wouldn't that be redundant? :P
As someone from PA, you’re not kidding about the rain. There’s been more than a few times I’ve been driving home in rain that was coming down in such heavy sheets that you could barely see through curtains of rain and the car roof sounded like someone was spilling marbles on it. There was also a turn I had to take getting home that my car would often end up swimming through for a second when it flooded.
@@sophbird8215 I mean Ohio still gets heavy rain like that but it doesn't happen often imo, and again...sometimes it'll just pass right on by or if you're driving, you'll get out of it sooner than you think.
Floridian here, lived in north central FL for 20 years. Bout around 3 or 4 times a year, well get some bad storms (NOT "tropical") that are honestly so ridiculous to describe people wont believe ya. I was driving 3am saturday night back home from gainesville and there wasnt a drop, or any warning of water, when suddenly I thought I ran into a wall. The car went from 60 to 30 faster than i could process, and im lucky the airbags didnt turn on. turned out it was just waves of water, washing over the car as if being poured straight from a bucket. also, for anyone thinking this, the road itself was NOT flooded over. couldnt get the car above around 30 for the next few miles. a couple minutes later, clear skies.
Loved that Louisiana step in with a cover for Florida because brothers don't let brothers done
Jim Cantore showed up *and* Waffle Houses shut down. It was a rough one. Some areas here in Central Florida are still flooded. I can’t imagine what it’s like in Southwest Florida right now.
Jim and Waffle House.....that's a 3billion rebuild
Got to love how every buddies trying to make up for Florida being too busy with the hurricane ❤️🤣
Also got to love how Gov is so used to Florida being there he feels awkarward when he isn't there XD
For a while, Florida also used the Meteorologist Jim Cantore as a judge of where the storm was going. It got to the point that instead of writing the storm's name down they wrote his name down.
Man this reminds me of the Rain God so to speak in China. He’s a singer that does tours and wherever he goes it WILL rain lol. No matter the weather.
I feel like I summoned this into existence yesterday I was looking at waffle house memes on CZcams and then look what happened this morning!
"Disney during a storm just means shorter lines because the tourists went home" I was JUST about to comment this when Gov asked if Disney was closed. You truly DO know Florida well!
And AZ enforcing that law has already impacted one young lady from getting a medication that she has been using for a documented illness, but because it can also terminate a pregnancy, the pharmacy requested a message from her doctor that it was in fact for her illness, even though they have filled it before.
those fuckers with y chromosome sure are good at making those without one suffer
Oh no one person has been impacted. Less than the 60+million babies that have been murdered
It's only used to test ectopic pregnancies as well
"Waffle House is closed"
"BOY, RUN"
That was some funny shit right there
i fully support the lawsuit against amazon. in fact, there’s a damning story from locally where a warehouse collapsed during a tornado and investigators found it had not been properly built to withstand inclement weather. in other words, amazon’s negligence killed 6 people. i’m not sure how i could provide this evidence so any advice helps. i want to see those 6 people and their families get justice.
I love how friendly Louisiana is compared to Florida
He's charismatic and has a few more braincells.
Not too many more. New Orleans area native here.
Its like that in real life too. Go anywhere other than new orleans i promise you will get hugs!
@@vicious_cycle you give us way too much credit
@@Bran031787 Well that's actually lovely to know
If WH is closed and not being renovated then you need to run
Okay, park rangers DO treat Kermode bears (spirit bears) with more care, but that's partly because they're deeply sacred to several indigenous groups, partly because they struggle to survive with their lack of camouflage, and partly because...I mean, look at 'em. They just LOOK like you'd get cursed for hurting them. Nobody wants to be the first person to find out what the curse is. It would probably start with all your fellow rangers turning on you. 😬
(I love Kermode bears and wish there was more public knowledge about them. Fun fact: the gene that makes their fur white is the equivalent of the gene that makes humans redheads. They're ginger bears!)
Yes!!!!!!
MI got a full segment on this show for once.
I wish MI would appear more often.
His accents a little off but it's always fun too see the home state!
Your roundtable video's are always gold and so on point. Thank you for the many laughs 👍
The among other things at the end gave me a good laugh!
fun fact: the government literally has a whole scale measuring how bad a situation is based on of Waffle House is closed or not
I come from Arizona so I LOVE seeing him show up. Amazing video as always!
Yep. The hurricane was bad. my area only got hit with the fumes from it and we still lost power for 3 days.
California doing great today, would love more of this.
Seconded.
As a floridian that road out the storm in Ft Myers. Two things to always check. Waffle House and Walmart. If those close you should probably leave. Also pretty nice our highways had no tolls at the time too. Right around a couple of the aforementioned stores closed. Coincidence? I think not!
Keep fighting in the good fight California!! It's much appreciated.

Louisiana I love more and more, they are so chill.
Louie’s Florida impression is my favorite thing
This is like if Sanders Sides was about the US and its chaos instead of emotions
There's only 2 things that can close a Waffle House. Category 5 hurricanes and gentrification.
Govts face after the spirit bear. 🤣 🤣
1:33 Louisiana covering for Florida just shows how both are vital to the table. We miss you florida 😢
I'm surprised we found another alligator up here and I am just now hearing about it.
Ok I'm less surprised now, all of them have been in the messed up southeast part of the state. If you ever come to Wisconsin stay away from the Dells, Green Bay and Madison area's crazy stuff happens down there.
The Dells is great so long as you stay near the parks the others i agree with but you should add Milwaukee to the list its basically Little Chicago.
@@zackarynigbor7821 yea I missed Milwaukee, but I stand by the Dells that place is just one big tourist trap
@@Falcon532. true very but its fun tourist trap
Amazing acting on the accent of Louisiana imitating Florida
"BOI, RUN!😩" -Louisiana. 😂🤣😭
Perfectly accurate Florida. We knew we were in for a pounding. We did find a waffle house that as open after the storm, but they were out of waffles.
That’s actually part of the index, Open with full menu means little to no damage, limited menu means heavy damages to supply lines, closed means catastrophic storm damage.
Anywhere in the southeast we use the Waffle House system to determine when to evac. If they do pickup only or limited menu then shit's starting to get serious, but if they full on close get your ass outta there! Normal operation you just check your supplies and your bug out bag, and that's because I have anxiety.
I really love the friendship Florida and Louis are forming. Those two make a good pair.
"If you thought it was YOURS, then i am sorry for not doing enough to make you not think that."
I'll be stealing that one for whenever someone asks what side I'm on in an argument. Golden stuff.
As a European for whom this constitutes both geography and sociology...
Don't worry California! You can tell everything you want to know about someone (or a state I guess) by who they are fighting at any given time. Ledger's still pretty green by comparison.
I love LA and FL being good friends. Can't wait for the LSU Florida game
Didn't realize that Americans probably didn't know what a spirit bear was until now. It's something I'm pretty sure most Canadians are aware of since BC is pretty proud have them in their forests.
Love that Louis and Arizona got to come and be chaotic in Florida's stead
I think this series would be a great place to launch the rule that states need 4-letter abbreviations. Especially the M states, because they all contain an A or I (and usually both).
They used to, then some time in the 80s they went to the two letter thing. I always write Mont on my letters to MT and Calif to CA, Mich…you get the picture.
I felt the ending to my core😢
Awesome video 😁 I also saw a video about Floridians just floating in a pool tube in the flodding waters 😂
But honestly the waffle house closing is worth a little panic 😂
The Waffle House closing is the hurricane’s version of the farmer not finishing his chores in medicine. It can’t mean anything good.
love your stuff, it's good to have a laugh after all of this. I am from Cape Coral. It's completely unimaginable how bad it is down here. we always prep and expect these storms but Ian hit harder than most of us thought it would.
100% Confirm that Disney only closes when it gets bad. My family and i run to Disney as soon as the storms starts
Wait waffle house was closed?
Shiiiiiiiit honey get the kids, pack the cat, don't forget the beer, this one is about to be nasty.
Funny enough growing up on the southern coast and trying to explain this to my wife's parents who are from Pittsburgh was basically a long comedy of errors.
It basically turned into me saying, waffle house open equals good.
Waffle house closed equals immanent death lol
When MI said "Ope. Sorry about that...." it made me think of his video that he made where the states walked in on you changing and the whole midwest was just slightly different versions of the states saying "Ope sorry!"
These have been getting better and better the longer you spend as each State.
Keep it going! Road to 1 mil subs HYPE

It’s official
Florida is the comedy relief of the Table
I love how DC has to ask AZ when it became a state. Such a nice touch lol.
I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about how thrown off the rhythm is without Florida and how much it surprisingly seems to upset California and Gov
I live in North Port, FL, and holy shit it was so bad, my house was an island for 4 days!
As an arizonan...
Yeah, that's accurate. in way to many ways.
"yeah, dude, I'm the weird one." "You think that's why people don't like you? Among other things.."
I have never related so hard to California in my life.
The hurricane has the same name as I do, it's fun to joke about it
The aftermath of the hurricane in Florida is insane.
But the craziest part of it all is how they seem to be handling it. 16 Florida politicians voting to refuse hurricane relief because the don't want help from the Biden administration even though the state itself is under water.
Always brightens my day to watch something you post.
Awww, Gov missed Florida for a minuet and got sad.
Wait so Arizona and Oregon have the same statehood day??? I can work with this!
Twins!
Depends on which history book you read. Lol!
Floridian here, can confirm Ian was bad. The most disastrous part about it was the storm surges and it moving slowly. It did what Hurricane Charlie from the 2000s decade did. Was originally predicted to hit one area and swung to another just before impact. When a hurricane does that at a high Cat 3 or higher it causes a lot of damage. If it's a fast moving 'cane there's just a lot of general destruction. Houses torn up, trees and poles everywhere, cars scattered. If it's slow, there's a lot more water buildup and movement and that's what sweeps everything up. For hurricane Ian some areas even experienced what's called a reverse storm surge where water flows out instead of builds up. People could see the bottom of the Tampa Bay. It's insane. The hurricane came literally 1mph wind speed from turning into a Cat 5.
How is it that i live in Wisconsin but every time I hear about an alligator being in the state it’s through this show.? 😂
I see Florida dealing with a hurricane by standing in it screaming with his arms out. Hahahah
Waffle House is either closed or destroyed. Either way you're gonna have to learn to fly quick
Poor Florida. Much love to y'all from Louisiana.
This was so good! I love Louis stepping in to fill Florida's role 😂
I can confirm that Waffle House is the sign of the Apocalypse
I would assume you mean Waffle House being closed... But then again, from what I've heard goes down in there, you may not have mistyped.
I legit started having a panic attack when they that Waffle House was closed
Thumbs-up specifically for that very gentlemanly hat-tip by Louisiana, right there...
Dear Florida,
You'd seriously go to Disney World during a hurricane!?! You guys are *NUTS!*
~ Sincerely Yours The Rest Of The World.
Actually the WDW resorts (hotels) are some of the safest buildings in FL. The park may close but the resorts will still be open Unlike most buildings in FL they were built to last and weren't built by the cheapest bidder. They are on their own power grid and all utilities are underground they don't loose power. Water and sewer are maintained and controlled by Disney not by city county or state. All access roads maintained by Disney.
They have their own security. If you can afford it it's one of the safest places to be in a hurricane and the parks won't be closed for very long.
And yes Floridians are kind of nuts 😜
As a native Floridian, I have been waiting for this video since news first broke last week that there were waffle houses closing.
Boy run!! Sums up the entire situation
Thank you, California for caring about our island, PR. :)
i absolutely loved california in this sketch. also loui filling in florida's shoes was really wholesome
Coming to the show tonight, can't wait
I was just explaining this to someone today lmao.
I’m going to be talking about California as a character in these skits. The concept of California getting into fights for what he believes is right with the full knowledge that it will loose him friends and make others hate him is a philosophy I do somewhat admire. Regardless of sharing beliefs, I do have an admiration for characters that are firm on their convictions knowing there will be consequences. It does become a different story when the character knows they’re going to hurt someone(s) with their actions but simply doesn’t care that they’re inflicting harm. Unknown harm from characters is something I don’t hate as much as known harm
I’m from Louisiana too and I love your Louie.
As a mexican that has a father from a northern bordering state (Chihuahua) and a mother who was born in Mexico City, I have gotten second (or third) hand experience of what the US is like.
I spend most of my internet time in english. Most of what I do online is in english, so I am kind of exposed a lot of the time to american (and british) culture.
Your channel is on another level. You give me a more insightful veiw on american culture, and how the diversity in every state. I don't know what "the southern charm" is, but I suspect it might be sort of the way that Louisiana behaves in this video.
I just wanted to thank you directly. I know it is comedy and stereotypes and all of that, but you trurly have made me understand and appreciate more american culture.
(Yes, I am attracted to Louisiana, although I am a man, so I suspect Louisiana wouldn't appreciate that)
I'm in Georgia: I've long made the joke that if you go to a town in the South and the Waffle House is closed, keep driving.
That joke became a bit more real when the pandemic hit and two Waffle Houses I was near closed down due to a lack of employees.
THANK YOU CALIFORNIA! Finally someone who actually cares
"Boy, run!" 💀
