  • We go all American for this and the next two uploads. After three superbikes in recent weeks, we thought it time to look at horsepower in a different form; the lazy v-twin and where better to go for that than America! First up is the Victory Gunner.

    I know little to nothing about bikes, but my dad has worked in the Polaris plant for almost 20 years and assisted on the Victory Line. I always thought the Gunner looked pretty cool!

      Americans drive on the right side of the road. The British drive on the correct side of the road.

    That hand pump espresso maker was hilarious. Try an AeroPress guys. It's much less expensive, simpler to use and makes a great espresso.

    By the way Polaris is really putting dollars into their motorcycle line. They recently bought into Brammo and put out the fully electric as part of the Victory line, this can (hopefully) only push Harley Davidson to be be even more competative which means we the consumer will benefit. Ride safe.

    Gunner or Judge? Gunner solo seat and nice OD green are cool BUT Judge has passenger seat and LED blinkers.
    Opinions? Which is best pick? Apart from rims and tail light aesthetic...

    Part two way funny. Coffee fail! Being from Washington State (U.S.) Coffee is our thing and you failed hard, just stop at a coffee shop that looks like a lot of work for very little coffee. Bike yes, coffee press NO!

    Ace review guys!! Question, how did you find the foot pegs going round bends? Any better/worse than bikes of similar stature?

    • @IgnitionBikeShow
      @IgnitionBikeShow  Před 9 lety +2

      ***** They're exactly the same as all bikes in this class, unfortunately, so you'll have to save the knee down for the sport bikes!

  • @gravekhybetuboundmuiuomg8313

    why music? let's hear the bike

  • @edteune

    2:35 I was like, 'oh, crap, he's pulled out onto the wrong side of the road!' :) nice review BTW, but looks like the foot pegs aren't forward enough for taller riders, bummer

    • @roadhunter72
      @roadhunter72 Před 8 lety

      +Ed Thöne . Yeah, the pegs are a bit short for a 6"+ rider. Victory offers two different options for forward controls; a 2 inch (which puts the pegs in the same position as the older Vics) and another set that extends the stock set-up by 4 inches, which lets me stretch my 36" inseam out quite a bit.

      +Ed Thöne I thought that too. I was so intensely looking at the bike that I didn't notice where he was riding for the first few seconds.

    Victory bikes are nice but to be honest the HD is nicer, much better fit and finish on the HD, thats why I bought the Harley. For those that want a similar bike........they buy the cheaper Victory, and by cheaper I mean cheaper price and cheaper quality. Still with all that being said, the Victory and Indian is a good alternative to the Harley Davidson. Enjoyed your reviews again, thanks and hello from Canada, cheers!

    • @draganm7823
      @draganm7823 Před 8 lety

      According to consumer reports Indian and Victory have more major issues than Harley, like brakes and transmission issues which Harley does not have, still good bikes though. HD outsels all other cruisers combined as per financial reports.Check out the scout copy put out by Victory, the Octane. Ride safe.

    • @IgnitionBikeShow
      @IgnitionBikeShow  Před 9 lety +1

      Kingsoupturbo No, not really. On a bike you can always get away much quicker than in a car!

    Guys, I really enjoy your show but you need to do something about the opening titles and music, seems like something out of the 80s! Hope you don't mind some constructive criticism. All the best.

    • @IgnitionBikeShow
      @IgnitionBikeShow  Před 9 lety +6

      ray dollars Constructive criticism we always welcome. We know that the title sequence and music is not the best but we feel we'd rather spend the budget on the content of the show. But it's definitely on the to-do list.

    The early ground contact in the curve does not go at all. I know someone the hats thrown out of the curve and the machine is the slope down. Was ne HD. This can cost you a lifetime. For manufacturers, there is no problem to construct otherwise, there are examples.
