Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker calling out and pecking for insects | 4K UHD

Sunda Pygmy Woodpeckers are one of the smaller species of woodpeckers here in Malaysia at around 13cm in length. Unlike other woodpecker species where you will likely notice them by hearing the sound of them pecking wood, the Sunda pygmy woodpecker is much more vocal and its shrill call can be heard from quite a distance.
They usually are quite high up in the trees and the result is they are against a bright white sky but this time I was lucky enough to see them slightly lower for a short while.
