Fellow commentator even the most misinformed person deserves our compassion.we should not get ourselves ,to sultani, level ,also it is inappropriate to generalize ,and judge a whole nation based on comments made by one person.not all Iranians are misinformed just like not all Americans are.your obviously getting your information about Iranians from TV.that is ashame.if you want to defend dr nasr out of respect to him get to know his culture.read rumi.read Quran.see that Quran is synonymous with compassion, sacred, humility, humanity, respect science.quran was the first book that described embryology.read Moore embryology ,there is a quote from Quran on the first page.this book is studied by medical students all over they world.finally as a medical doctor ,also an Iranian let me be the first one to say that dr nasr is a treasure that must be cherished,he is most likely the person that is probably the closest person to god.he is the flute that mollannaa rumi is writing about in massnavvi book.throw him god is crying to us take care off each other, respect each other, hold all human life sacred.today he lost a family member that died some seven hundred years ago.he is bearing that name.hussain.his family ,his ancestors fought against tireny, dictatorship.his family fought in Iraq for all humanity.72 people stood against hundreds of solders yazeed.khalefah.he fought with courage and honor.he is a decendant of a holy family hand picked by god.hzrat ali was his relation.yes dr nasr comes form such holy family.and you dare to call him a hypocrite.god for give you for such haracy.i am a medical doctor.he has opened my eye to be human an treat my patients with holy respect. I am saddened to read your comments.dr nasr does not need to be defended.by any of us .we are the idiot.to think that we can even attempt to make any comments about him.is kidding our selves.it is like you try to write a commentary about my grammar.or dictation, spelling.how gall able you are to even permit your self to comment about such a man.by the the way I a m Iranian.i am sure you have probably guessed by now.american culture is consumed with misrepresentations about irannians.american gallibelization will be its downfall.your founding fathers who wrote the constitution ,never intended it.take care of the earth, humanity, hold all human life sacred not just a few.let all Iranians,American,German,Jewish,Arab, ajam, get to gather, open our heart,to each other, welcome each other,in peace dignity, help those in need.save earth.who is the gods creation that gave us life beauty.god bless you all my fellow earthlings.best wishes.best regardes.

Kami don't you think if you are going to criticize one of the biggest scholars and call him an idiot, you should check your spelling and writing skills first? My guess is like most Iranians you just have a brainwashed view on Islam and instead of learning it you decided to take it out on dr Nasr who is absolutely not a hypocrite

Poor guys, known nowhere, try to criticize a wonderful Muslim Scholar and use a stupid yardstick to measure one's intellectuality. What the heck??? Wake up boys!!
