1 = LEFT PUNCH (SQUARE).........f = front
2 = RIGHT PUNCH (TRIANGLE).......b = back
3 = LEFT KICK (X button) ..............d = down
4 = RIGHT KICK (CIRCLE).........u =up
f,b,d,u - mean: tap/press
F,B,D,U - mean: HOLD
FC is Full Crouch
WS is While Standing, get up from crouch
~ is press very fast
CD is Crouch Dash = f,d,df
BT is Back Turned
SS is Side Step L left or R right
CH is Counter Hit
QCF is down, down/front, front motion
wgf is f, d, df + 2
tgf is f, d, df + 1

Yes, some moves and setups work well even in T5 DR or T6, but it's hard to discuss changes on their own. T3 can be compared to TTT (lots of changes though) as T5 to T5 DR (mostly new stuff added).
If you see sth. interesting in any of these clips you have to check it by youself :)

"just frame" is a common name for moves that have very small frame window to execute and can't be activated easily by mashing buttons
some counters or escapes also require "jf" input

You can counter the headbutt in Tekken 2. I did it with Paul Phoenix, great game.

@@newaccount4938 just frame are moves with strict time input, sometimes it's literary ONE frame to press a button
there's no easy way around it, no "turbo" function will work and setting a macro is cheating so you gotta learn it 😏

you need to delay second kick slightly
set opponent to guard all in practice and keep trying
Man, I havent met the guy who can be manly enough to counter kicks with the especial attack, and I've been played since TTT was released.

df+1,2; uf+3 unblockable 4 and 1,1,2 can be a pain to avoid, but I like Hei VS Hei matches ;)

Tekken 3 Heihachi design > any other Heihachi designs.
I like his T4 diaper. It was also the last Tekken before increasing "hemanosis" of most male characters, making their muscles grotesquely bulky. Hei should not be ultra-ripped, his strength manifested with age and experience.

google: "Tekken 3 gameshark codes". Originally required a device you put into memory card slot or parallel port in the back . Some emulators support these cheats - infinite energy, one hit kill and character swap you ask about.

There's one little trick you can do without cheats - during the start screen hold L1+L2+R1+R2 for character models swapped in the intro.

That's basic Tekken notation lol
Good luck learning other fighting games when "UP"=8. "DOWN"=2 etc. to match numerical keyboard. It does not even mean anyone uses keyboard to play them but some communities adopted that and they stick to it. Does LP/MP/HP/DRF/360 in Street Fighter confuse you as well?

@@kakashihatake8223 Yeah, look up guides on gamefaqs - each game has its own control scheme but many overlap that's why "languages" were established. Most classic games are available online once you google: MAME + rom + game title. Have fun, cheers.
